OSWEGO – Happy to share some exciting news on behalf of Oswego Health Medical Practice, as we have expanded our specialty care offerings with the opening of a new Pulmonary & Critical Care Clinic at Oswego Hospital!
This much-anticipated addition addresses a critical and growing need for advanced respiratory and critical care medicine in our community, reducing the need for patients to travel outside the region for specialized treatment.
The clinic officially opened on August 11 and will provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management for a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, and work-related lung diseases. Services include pulmonary function testing, CPAP/BiPAP therapy management, bronchoscopy referrals, smoking cessation support, and oxygen therapy coordination.
In addition to outpatient services, the clinic’s board-certified specialists will collaborate with Oswego Hospital’s Hospitalist team and ICU Telemedicine Services to provide inpatient consultation and management for critically ill patients—strengthening continuity of care across the entire health system.
