Oswego Health Medical Practice Welcomes Kyle Grampp, MHA, as Clinical Operations Director

OSWEGO – Oswego Health Medical Practice is pleased to welcome Kyle Grampp, MHA, as its new Clinical Operations Director.

Oswego Health Medical Practice is a multi-specialty medical group offering accessible, high-quality healthcare throughout Central New York. With more than 100 physicians, advanced practice providers and caregivers, the Medical Practice provides a broad range of services, including primary care, cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, pulmonology and more. Oswego Health Medical Practice is affiliated with Oswego Hospital, connecting patients to a broad continuum of care through Oswego Health.

In his new role, Grampp will provide strategic and operational leadership across assigned specialties within Oswego Health Medical Practice. He will work closely with providers, practice leaders and care teams to strengthen operations, improve workflows, support provider engagement, enhance patient access and advance a consistent, patient-centered experience. The role also includes supporting practice leaders and teams through continuous improvement, strategic planning and operational performance.

Grampp brings extensive healthcare operations and practice management experience to Oswego Health Medical Practice. Most recently, he served as Practice Manager for North Country Orthopaedic Group/North Star Health Alliance in Watertown, where he led clinical and non-clinical teams across two hospital-affiliated orthopedic clinics. His responsibilities included overseeing daily operations, staff recruitment and training, scheduling, billing and insurance processes, patient concerns, regulatory compliance and performance metrics. He also partnered with clinicians on business strategy and developed new patient registration processes to improve workflow and efficiency.

Previously, Grampp served as a Practice Manager with Claxton Hepburn Medical Center/North Star Health Alliance and Lewis County General Hospital, providing operational leadership, supporting staff development, streamlining administrative processes and working to improve the patient experience.

Grampp holds a Master of Science in Health Care Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from King’s College. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Health Science in Population Health Leadership at Thomas Jefferson University and has successfully completed his dissertation proposal defense, making him a Doctor of Health Science candidate, DHSc(c). His dissertation focuses on implementation science and the feasibility and clinical usefulness of integrating nutritional and muscle health screening tools into orthopedic care pathways. He anticipates completing his dissertation and final defense in December 2026.

“We are excited to welcome Kyle to Oswego Health Medical Practice and look forward to the experience and perspective he brings to our team,” said Nikki Kushner, VP of Physician Services. “Kyle understands that strong operations are ultimately about creating a better experience for our patients and supporting the people who provide that care. His collaborative approach, commitment to our clinicians and staff, and focus on continuous improvement will be valuable as we continue to grow. We look forward to his leadership helping us strengthen our practices, improve access and create an exceptional experience for the patients and communities we serve.”

Grampp said his leadership philosophy is grounded in putting patients at the center while recognizing that achieving organizational goals requires a strong, connected team.

“I strongly believe that achieving our goals requires working together as a team,” said Grampp. “I’m passionate about supporting our staff and clinicians, building strong relationships and creating an environment where people feel valued. When we work together and keep the patient at the center, I believe we put ourselves in the best position to deliver high-quality care and the best experience for our patients and the communities we serve.”

Grampp’s appointment comes as Oswego Health Medical Practice continues to expand access to care and strengthen connections between its growing network of medical practices and the broader Oswego Health system. With locations in Clay, Fulton and Oswego, his focus on operational excellence, provider collaboration, patient access and continuous improvement will support the Medical Practice’s ongoing growth while keeping the patient experience at the center of its work.
