Chiles will serve outpatients 18 years and older at the Lobdell Center for Mental Health & Wellness at Lakeview in Oswego. This center offers a full spectrum of services, including medication management, individual and group therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders, psychological testing, walk-in services, and family education and support. The adult clinics at Oswego Health are staffed with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, mental health counselors, and nurses, all dedicated to providing best-practice, compassionate care.
Chiles’s education and experience further strengthen Oswego Health’s commitment to mental health and wellness in CNY. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where she specializes in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, emphasizing patient-centered care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. She also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, in their FACT-1 Accelerated 1-Year Program and holds a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from Thomas Jefferson University’s P4 Accelerated 1-Year Program.
Chiles brings a wealth of experience in clinical care and healthcare leadership. Before joining Oswego Health, she worked at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she served as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Behavioral Unit. In this role, she provided specialized care for pediatric patients with co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD, among others. Chiles collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and was involved in educating new nurses and improving unit culture. She also contributed to research projects presented to senior leadership.
Her earlier career included clinical roles in adult and pediatric care and experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where she worked in sales and training to promote medical devices and medications. This diverse background has given Chiles a comprehensive understanding of patient care from multiple perspectives, making her a valuable asset to Oswego Health’s Mental Health & Wellness team.
Chiles’s credentials include being an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and registered nurse licenses in New York, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. She is also trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and suicide prevention, among other certifications.
