Public Invited to Enjoy Holiday Concert at Springside

OSWEGO— The public is invited to a joyful holiday musical experience at Springside at Seneca Hill on Wednesday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. Celebrate the season with the Oswego County New Horizons Band, who will perform a variety of holiday selections and offer light refreshments for all to enjoy.

Springside at Seneca Hill is located at 10 County Route 45A, Oswego, NY 13126. Turn west onto County Route 45 from Route 481, take the first left, and then the first right. Springside is fully accessible.

Under the direction of SUNY Oswego music professor Robert Auler, DMA, and Assistant Director Phill Sterling, the band will perform a selection of holiday favorites guaranteed to lift your spirits and usher in the Christmas season. One member of the band, Diana Laurent, proudly resides at Springside.

The Oswego County New Horizons Band, founded in the late 1990s, draws members from across Oswego County, and even from Cayuga and Onondaga counties. With approximately 40 musicians—each 50 years of age or older—the group includes players from all walks of life and all levels of musical experience. They come together for the pure enjoyment of making music, fostering friendships, and entertaining audiences. The band performs at festivals, parks, adult care facilities, and community programs, sharing everything from swing and marches to classical, pop, and golden oldies.
