Oz Roller Girls Host Retro BBQ

The Oz Roller Girls team up with Oswego's Lighthouse Lanes for a retro chicken barbecue from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 18. For the fundraiser, roller girls will dress in '50s pinup styles, serve as carhops and provide derby demonstrations while visitors can enjoy Lighthouse Lanes' popular chicken dinner for $8. Country Cruizers will provide vintage cars on display, with other classic car owners welcome to join. Striking a pose to promote the event are Oz Roller Girls, from left, Storm Warning (Toni Pavo), Cee Cee Boom (Charlene Casnaw), Short Fuze (Emma Draper), Mass Jennocide (Jennie O'Connor) and Elizadeath Bennet (Libby Vickery), while Lighthouse Lanes owner Bob Hoefer (back right) lends his support.
