In the two documents below, you can read the complaint of parent Mark Aldasch, delivered to the Fulton Board of Education on September 13, and the response from the Fulton City School District, released on September 22.
Aldasch complains that his son, who suffers from a disability, was not allowed to try out for varsity football because of his disability. He also alleges that Athletic Director Chris Ells harassed him and that his complaints caused the district to retaliate against his son.
The district’s lawyer headed an investigation of the complaints and concludes that no discrimination or retaliation happened, though there was one “minor communication that may have been construed as possible retaliation”.
