Lavery leads the way as of Tuesday evening, driving the Graham Racing No. 12 Xtreme Supermodified with a lap of 16.403 seconds.

Lavery, a three-time pole sitter for the Budweiser International Classic 200 and a two-time feature winner this season, is one of the favorites for Classic pole on Friday night.

Defending Classic champion Bond, in the Four Sevens Motorsports No. 47, clicked off a lap of 16.595 seconds to land the second fastest time of the week to this point.

Each tried time trial simulation runs before focusing on slower full tank runs for Sunday’s 200-lapper.

The Supermodifieds of Todd Stowell, Brian Sobus, and Lou LeVea Jr. have also been on track this week. None of the three found the 16-second bracket.

Shawn Muldoon fired his No. 1 machine on Tuesday and Lavery took laps on Monday in the Graham Racing No. 92 to shake it down for NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour veteran Ron Silk.

Former SBS Classic champion Russ Brown was also on hand Tuesday in the Hedger Fabrication No. 13, as he turned the fastest SBS lap of the week at 18.848 seconds.
