Pet of the Week – Maria

OSWEGO – Maria is a gorgeous Siamese/Tortie mix.

You can see her unusual markings.

She was the loving mother of the seven Von Trapp kittens, who have now all found their own homes, leaving her lonely and looking for someone else to adore.

She spends hours lying on the office desk looking for (and getting) attention but she needs her own home and her own people to love her.

She is still defensive and wary of other animals, having spent all that time zealously watching over her kittens.

So, she would be best in a home where she is the only animal, with space to live, cuddle and relax after such a stressful early life.

Please contact the OCHS office during business hours at 315-207-1070 or via email anytime to [email protected] for information on adopting Maria.

You can meet some of our cats up for adoption at the Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Celebration on December 16 and 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at our office at 29 W. Seneca St., Oswego.
