Baked Bean: Pet of the Week

OSWEGO – Baked Bean is the kind of kitten who wants to be brave.

This adorable 3-month-old boy is a little more cautious than his siblings, but every day he grows a little bolder. New things can make him pause and think, and if one of his foster feline friends decides to launch a surprise tunnel ambush, Baked Bean may temporarily retreat to safety at record speed. Fortunately, his curiosity always wins, and before long he’s back out investigating the situation.

While being held isn’t his favorite activity just yet, Baked Bean absolutely loves pets and attention. Start scratching his head and you’ll quickly hear the rumble of his impressive purr-motor. This little guy has a lot of love to give and is learning more every day that people are pretty wonderful.

When he’s feeling playful, Baked Bean enjoys chasing toys, climbing, and joining in kitten games with his siblings. He’s a sweet, sensitive soul who just needs a little encouragement to build his confidence.

Baked Bean may not be the first kitten to charge into a new situation, but he’s proof that courage isn’t about never being scared. It’s about coming back out after you run away from the tunnel monster (who happens to also be your brother).

Baked Bean is 3 months old, neutered and vaccinated. He is indoor only. The adoption fee is $125.
