Callie: Pet of the Week

OSWEGO – Callie is a beautiful calico looking for a forever home. At about 8-9 years of age, she has the hobbies of a true retiree. She loves to sit in a window and watch outside. She has lived outdoors but she prefers to stay indoors. She adores physical affection like petting and brushing. She is sweet and calm, and a wonderful quiet companion.

She is very loving to the kind humans around her, but she can’t help her distaste for other cats that pass by. She can tolerate other cats around but very much prefers to be the queen of her kingdom. She would not like to live with dogs or small children.

Callie was once an outdoor cat and she has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) but don’t let this scare you. This is primarily an immune compromising disease. As long as she is always kept updated with vaccines she can live a normal healthy life. This is also why we recommend that she is the only cat in the home.

Callie is spayed and up-to-date with vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $50.

If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app. You can email us your completed application and any questions to [email protected]!
