Hammah Montana: Pet of the Week

OSWEGO – Hammah Montana is a star in our eyes. She is a Syrian hamster and about 1 year old. She is in good health.

She’s a very curious hamster who likes to investigate and rearrange her enclosure. We recommend a cage with at least a 400 square inch base (hamsters need more space than you think).

Hammah doesn’t let fame get to her head. She’s very down to earth… and she loves to bury in her bedding.

She enjoys running on her wheel, which should be no smaller than 10 inch diameter. We wouldn’t recommend anything smaller as she wouldn’t be able to run comfortably.

Hammah can be handled with patience. Go too fast, and she’ll nip. We recommend older, school-aged children. She would be a great pet for any family or classroom.

The adoption fee is $15 and does not include a habitat set-up or supplies.

If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app. You can email us your completed application and any questions to [email protected]!
