Sofia: Pet of the Week

OSWEGO – Headline: Terrific Kitty Seeks Terrific Home! We think Sofia is so astoundingly beautiful, y’all need to HEAR ALL ABOUT IT.

Sofia is barely a year old and already has an impressive accomplishment on her résumé: she successfully raised a litter of adorable little tiger-striped kittens. Now that her motherhood duties are behind her, she’s ready to enjoy a well-deserved life of sunshine, toys, and affection.

If Sofia looks familiar, you may recognize her resemblance to the famous Sheba cat. With her striking good looks and elegant mannerisms, she’s every bit the star but without any diva tendencies. Fortunately, she doesn’t let fame go to her head.

Sofia is affectionate without being demanding. She enjoys spending time with her people and is known to groom both herself and her foster parent as a sign of affection. She’s a gentle companion who would much rather show love than cause trouble.

When she’s not supervising grooming duties, Sofia enjoys playing with toys, lounging in sunny windows, and keeping an eye on the birds outside. She gets along well with dogs, co-habitats with other cats, and would likely be happy as either an only pet or part of a respectful household with other animals.

Sofia is wonderfully well-mannered. She reliably uses her litter box, doesn’t scratch (unless it’s a cat scratcher) or bite, and generally approaches life with a calm, easygoing attitude. She’s also not much of a talker, making her an excellent companion for someone looking for a peaceful feline friend.

After spending her youth raising babies, Sofia is ready for a family that will spoil her for a change. She is about 1 year old, vaccinated and recently spayed. She has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $125. If you’re looking for a sweet, beautiful companion who has mastered both motherhood and relaxation, Sofia may be your perfect match.
