Tabula: Pet of the Week

OSWEGO – Back to school already? Well, Tabula would like to teach you a few things to start this year off fresh. As a senior feline, Ms. Tabby has been around for a bit and would like to impart some wisdom. Pencils out, notebooks open! Eyes up front please!

Tabula is a master of mindful living; she loves to be fully engrossed in the warmth of naps or the pursuit of a catnip mouse. She has a zest for living life to the fullest. Tabula sleeps when she wants and can be playful like a kitten. She knows that rest is as important as physical activity. Ms. Tabby knows how to cherish comfort and value closeness with loved ones.

She knows how to stand up for what she wants too: to be the only cat. Tabula refuses to share affection with other cats. But she has previously lived with a dog very amicably. She would not be a good playmate for young children.

Ms. Tabby has recently retired from her educational career. She is looking for the calm serenity of a retirement community, away from the hustle and bustle of public school classrooms. We think she is most deserving.

Tabula is about 15 years old, spayed and up-to-date with vaccinations. The adoption fee is waived because of her age.

If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email your completed application and any questions to [email protected]!
