OSWEGO – Tommy is a 1-year-old boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. Once he feels comfortable, he’s all about attention. He will follow you from room to room, ask for pets, and happily soak up affection throughout the day.
He has a playful, kitten-like energy and absolutely loves toys. Whether it’s chasing, batting, or pouncing, Tommy is always ready for fun. When he winds down, he’s just as happy to curl up beside you. He’s been known to snuggle right in for a cozy nap.
Tommy can be a little shy at first and may get excited when exploring new spaces or meeting new friends.
He’s curious and likes to investigate everything at his own pace. He does have a playful habit of gently grabbing your hands during petting, so he’d do best with someone who understands cat play behavior and can redirect him with toys.
With other cats, he may need a slow introduction. He’s shown typical “getting to know you” behavior like some hissing, but no aggression. Tommy is fearful of dogs and would likely do best in a dog-free home where he can feel secure and continue building his confidence.
If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate, and playful companion who will keep you company and keep life interesting, Tommy could be your perfect match. Tommy has been neutered and vaccinated. He is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $125.
If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email your completed application and any questions to [email protected]!
