OSWEGO, NY – The Professional Journalists and Communicators of Oswego County will welcome world-traveling weatherman Chris Brandolino at its next meeting set for 5 p.m. March 4 at Bridie Manor on West First Street.
HeÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ll talk about his experience abroad and transition back to television in a presentation beginning at 5:30 p.m.
SUNY Oswego graduate Brandolino recently returned from a two-year stay in Perth, Australia, where he worked for the countryÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Bureau of Meteorology.
Brandolino established himself as a Central New York celebrity as a meteorologist with WSTM-TV, Syracuse, for more than 10 years. He joined WSYR-TV in January.
The Schenectady native does forecasts for the Ã¢â‚¬Å“Morning NewsÃ¢â‚¬Â and Ã¢â‚¬Å“NewsChannel 9 @ NoonÃ¢â‚¬Â in addition to co-hosting the Ã¢â‚¬Å“Bridge StreetÃ¢â‚¬Â morning program.
The meeting of the PJC is open to the public. The cost is $12 for members and $14 for non-members.
