Oswego County Sheriff’s Office 07/03/2008

On 7/1/08, Philip T. Grady, 29, of 203 Towne Rd., Pulaski, NY was arrested at 3:30 p.m. as a fugitive from justice, on an Arrest Warrant issued out of Mecklenburg County Court in North Carolina, on a probation violation. Mr. Grady was arraigned in Scriba Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to return to T/O Scriba Court on 8/7/08.

On 7/1/08 at 10:32 a.m., Betty Bartholomew, 82, of 835 W. 3 St. S, Fulton, NY was operating a 2005 Dodge north on SR 48, ¼ mile south of Honey Hill Rd., in the Town of Granby when the vehicle reportedly struck a NYS DOT mowing machine operated by Mark J. Bednar, 47, of 48 Fraser Rd., Mexico, NY, in the rear that was partially in the roadway, actively mowing. Ms. Bartholomew and Mr. Bednar were both transported by ambulance to A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Failure to yield the right of way seems to have been a contributing factor.

On 7/2/08 at 2:35 a.m., Thomas K. Irwin, 52, of SR 104 West, Oswego, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, 3rd (failure to pay child support and failure to pay summons in St. Lawrence County) and Not Maintaining Minimum Speed Limit after a traffic stop on CR 25 in the Town of Minetto. Mr. Irwin was issued UTT’s, returnable to the T/O Minetto Court on 7/10/08.

On 7/3/08, Mitchael W. Trumble, 25, of US Rt. 11 Bldg# 1979, Hastings, NY was arrested at 12:56 a.m. for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor and Menacing, 3rd resulting from a domestic in which he allegedly choked an individual and threatened to punch the individual while that person was holding a child, in a Town of Mexico residence. Mr. Trumble was arraigned in Mexico Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250.00 cash or $500.00 bond. He is scheduled to return to Mexico Town Court on 7/7/08.
