On 7/3/08 at 6:13 a.m., Paul W. Brozenich Jr., 55, of 1599 CR 1, Oswego, NY was operating a 2006 Honda on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba when reportedly attempting to pull out of the parking lot of the Getty gas station, collided with a 2000 Dodge being operated by David J. Miner, 20, of PO Box 25, Lycoming, NY. Mr. Brozenich was ticketed for Failure to Yield the right-of-way.
On 7/7/08 at 8:55 a.m., James R. Dashnau, 26, of 10316 Smith Rd.,Weedsport, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 3rd ( 2 scoffs, failure to pay fine in Town of Cato and Town of Farmington) after a traffic stop at a traffic check point on SR 3 in the Town of Granby. Mr. Dashau was issued a UTT, returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 7/14/08.
On 7/9/08 at 8:30 p.m., Charles L. Dyer, 39, of 139 Crim Rd., Parish, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, 3rd, Failure to Secure a Shiftable Load and Drinking Alcohol in MV on Highway after a traffic stop on CR 22 in the Town of Parish, of which was initiated when an unsecured detached flatbed started to slide off the passenger side of his tow truck. Mr. Dyer was released on tickets, returnable to the Town of Parish Court on 7/22/08.
On 7/9/08 at 11:49 a.m., Alex D. Vance, 20, of 127 Swamp Pond Rd., Narrowsburg, NY was operating a 2001 Ford west on CR 4 in the Town of Palermo when the vehicle reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with CR 45 and collided with a 2003 Ford being operated by Kelley S. Foster, 40, of 604 CR 4, Central Square, NY. Mr. Vance was issued a ticket for Failure to Yield the right-of-way at an intersection. Ms. Foster and a passenger, Logan Foster, 6, were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital by ambulance.
On 7/10/08, Robert L. Cullop, 18, of North Street Bldg # 35, Pulaski, NY was arrested at 3:53 p.m. for Grand Larceny, 3rd a class D felony and Unauthorized Use of a MV, 3rd, a class A misdemeanor after the investigation into a stolen vehicle complaint made by a Town of Scriba residence on 6/25/08 in which a 1990 UD truck along with 200-250 orange traffic cones were taken. Mr. Cullop was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1500.00 cash or $3000.00 bond. He will return to T/O Scriba Court on 7/17/08. The investigation is still pending.
On 7/10/08, John D. Nelson III, 28, of 36 Lake St., Pulaski, NY was arrested at 3:43 p.m. for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 2nd ( 9 scoffs on 5 dates) and Insufficient Tail Lamps after a traffic stop on CR 29 in the Town of Scriba. Mr. Nelson was also found to have an arrest warrant out of the City of Fulton charging him with Criminal Trespass, 2nd and Harassment 2nd. Mr. Nelson was turned over to the C/O Fulton PD for further processing. He is scheduled to answer the charges in T/O Scriba Court on 7/31/08.
On 7/10/08 at 11:54 p.m., Steven H. Richmond, 20, of 211 E. 6th St., Oswego , NY was operating a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle west on CR 89 in the Town of Oswego when the vehicle reportedly left the roadway on north shoulder overturning onto it’s left side and striking guard rail. A passenger, Erica L. Marshall, 17, was transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital. Mr. Richmond was ticketed for Speed Not Reasonable.
On 7/10/08 at 7:28 a.m., Ann M. Detterline, 60, of 22 Ackerman Rd., Bernhards Bay, NY was operating a 2002 Dodge on SR 49 in the Town of West Monroe when a 2001 Dodge operated by Noel C. Foster, 17, of PO Box 336, Constantia, NY reportedly slowed down in traffic and was rear ended by Ms. Detterline’s vehicle. Ms. Detterline was issued a ticket for Following Too Closely.
