Oswego County Sheriff’s Office 07/14/2008

On 7/11/08 at 4:45 p.m., an 18 year old male residing in Hannibal, NY; a 16 year old male residing in Sterling, NY; a 16 year old male residing in Hannibal, NY, were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation, after the trio was observed exiting a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the roadway in front of a Town of Hannibal residence, standing around the vehicle and smoking what was later field tested as marijuana.  Seized at the time of arrest were pipes containing marijuana residue and a small quantity of marijuana in a clear sandwich bag.  The youths were released to their parents, each on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Hannibal on 7/22/08.

On 7/11/08 at 7:35 p.m., William B. Russell, 19, of 348 CR 29, Oswego, NY, was arrested for Menacing, Second Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Fourth Degree, both class A misdemeanors, following an incident that occurred in front of Mr. Russell’s residence where he allegedly poked a male victim in the arm with a three foot samurai sword causing a laceration to the victim’s upper arm while verbally threatening to cut the victim’s arm off.  The victim was sitting in his vehicle at the time of the incident.  The men had reportedly been involved in an act of road rage earlier and the victim had followed Mr. Russell back to his residence.  Mr. Russell was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 7/17/08.

On 7/12/08 at 2:15 a.m., Erin O. Goldman, 29, of 277 E. 10th St., Oswego, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Moved From Lane Unsafely stemming from the investigation into a motor vehicle accident that occurred on CR 176 in the Town of Volney.  Mrs. Goldman was operating a Jeep when she lost control causing the vehicle to roll several times before landing in an upright position.  Alcohol and driver inattention appear to have been contributing factors as she reportedly looked away from the road momentarily, then had to swerve to miss a mailbox.  She was subsequently transported by ambulance to the Oswego Hospital.  Mrs. Goldman was issued tickets returnable to Town of Volney Court on 8/04/08 and released to a third party.  The matter remains under investigation at this time with further charges pending.

On 7/12/08 at 7:58 p.m., Burton C. Nolan, 17, of 1764 CR 41, Pulaski, NY, and Aaron M. Town, 17, of 17 Gerdon Drive, Richland, NY, were each arrested for Burglary, Third Degree, a class D felony, and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor.  The men were each arraigned before the Hon. James Ridgeway, Town of Richland Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility, Mr. Nolan in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bail bond, and Mr. Town in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.  They are scheduled to return to court on 8/11/08.  A 15 year old male residing in the Village of Pulaski was issued a Juvenile Appearance Ticket for his participation in the incident, stemming from the same charges the adults received.  He is scheduled to contact the Oswego County Probation Department for further
proceedings.  The trio is accused of unlawfully entering out buildings on property at a Town of Richland residence from which they stole items.  Dawn M. Terry, 36, of 314 Peck Road, Pulaski, NY, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, a violation, after she was accused of yelling and interfering with the investigation after she arrived on the scene as the arrests were being made.  She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Richland Court on 7/28/08.

On 7/12/08 at 9:05 p.m., Brandon B. Johnson, 27, of 117 James St., Syracuse, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, and Unsafe Turn/Failure to Signal, following a traffic stop after he was observed turning east onto SR 3 from SR 104 in the Town of Hannibal traveling at a high rate of speed squealing the tires and using the oncoming lane.  Mr. Johnson was issued tickets returnable to Town of Hannibal Court on 8/29/08 and released to a third party.

On 7/12/08 at 11:53 p.m., Teresa L.Tucker, 36, of 268 W. Second St., South, Fulton, NY, was arrested based on a warrant issued by Fulton City Court charging her with Driving While Intoxicated; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree; Reckless Driving; and Unsafe Turn/Failure to Signal.  Ms. Tucker was arraigned before the Hon. James Aluzzi, Town of Volney Court, and released on her own recognizance.  She is scheduled to answer the charge before Fulton City Court at a later date.

On 7/13/08 at 12:46 a.m., John C. Bean, 45, of 126 LaCasse Rd., Parish, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, following the investigation into a property damage accident that occurred in the Town of Parish.  Reportedly, Mr. Bean had been driving on CR 38 when he turned onto Grafton Road and while attempting to make a stop on the side of the road, he pulled over too far and his truck ended up off the roadway, hung up on a cement culvert, and down an embankment.  Mr. Bean was issued tickets and released to a third party.  He is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Parish Court on 8/12/08.

On 7/13/08 at 3:00 p.m., Christian M. Stacy, 22, and Daniel Stacy, 20, both of 17 Rodgers Drive, Fulton, NY, were each charged with Trespass, a violation, stemming from a complaint that they were operating all-terrain vehicles on their neighbor’s property without permission.  Both men were issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Granby Court on 7/28/08.

On 7/13/08 at 7:26 p.m., David F. Czyz, 52, of 86 Minckler Road, Mexico, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and No Inspection Certificate, following a traffic stop on CR 64 at Green Road in the Town of Mexico.  Mr. Czyz was operating a Dodge pickup truck towing a triple axle trailer with a log hanging into the oncoming lane of traffic and displaying a pack of cigarettes in the windshield in place of an inspection sticker.  Mr. Czyz was arraigned before Town of Mexico Court and released on his own recognizance.  He is scheduled to reappear in court on 8/05/08.

On 7/13/08 at 8:15 p.m., Richard E. Bristol, III, 35, of 215 Dutch Ridge Road, Oswego, NY, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, following an incident that occurred on Junior Avenue in the Town of Granby during which he allegedly yelled at a male victim, calling the victim names, threatening to kill him and to blow up his house, while in the presence of several minors.     Mr. Bristol was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Granby Court on 7/28/08.
