On 10/15/08 at 3:40 p.m., Michael C. Christensen, 41, of 796 Red Schoolhouse Road, Fulton, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspended 6/21/06 for failing to answer a summons in the Town of Junius, Seneca County), stemming from a traffic stop initiated on CR 4 in the Town of Volney. Mr. Christensen was released on a ticket returnable to Town of Volney Court on 10/27/08.
On 10/17/08 at 1:36 p.m., Alfred F. Perry, 55, of 107 Germandale Drive, Fulton, NY, was arrested based on a Fugitive of Justice Warrant issued by the County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado, charging him with Speed in Zone, Operation Without Insurance, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operation, and Fugitive From Justice. Mr. Perry is being held at the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail pending extradition. He is scheduled to appear before the Hon. Edwin Winkworth, Town of Granby Court, on 11/03/08.
On 10/17/08, Laurette M. Strausser, 21, of 10 Pendergast Rd., Phoenix, NY, was operating a 1995 Ford suburban in the Town of Granby at 3:38 p.m. when, while entering Pendergast Road from her residence, she collided with a 2002 Ford suburban being driven northbound by Pamela L. Silvalia, 55, of 660 SR 48, Fulton. The incident occurred ½ mile east of County Line Road. Upon impact Ms. Silvalia’s vehicle continued to travel in a northwest direction leaving the roadway and striking a piece of lawn equipment being towed by a pedestrian behind a lawn tractor located at 37 Pendergast Road, the operator identified as DeForest O’Gorman. Ms. Strausser and Ms. Sivalia were transported by ambulance to A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Failure to yield the right of way appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident.
On 10/17/08, Rosalyn C. Parish, 67, of 662 Paradise Road, Central Square, NY, was operating a 2005 Pontiac suburban southbound on CR 35 in the Town of Palermo at 3:42 p.m. when she reportedly entered traffic onto CR 4 from a stop sign on CR 35 and collided with a 2001 Ford driven eastbound on CR 4 by Briana M. Stala, 20, of 71 Kelly Dr., Central Square, NY. Ms. Parish was ticketed for Failure to Yield Right of Way at a Stop Sign Intersection.
On 10/17/08, Keith H. Cary, Jr., 24, of 35 Hart St., Oswego, NY, was operating a 1992 Buick northbound on CR 6 in the Town of Volney at 5:22 p.m. when he reportedly slid into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a southbound 1995 GMC suburban driven by Sheila M. Lallier, 20, of 4257 SR 104, Mexico, NY, while attempting to apply his brakes after seeing vehicles stopped ahead of him. Ms. Lallier reportedly veered east across the road into a pond. Mr. Cary’s vehicle reportedly returned to the northbound lane and collided with a 1989 Chevrolet driven by Eden T. Jacobson, 19, of 2579 CR 45, Fulton, NY, as she was stopped waiting for an uninvolved vehicle to make a left turn into a driveway. The incident occurred one-half mile south of CR 45. Ms. Lallier and her passengers, Thomas A. Brown, 29, and Christopher Bresett, eight months, were all transported by ambulance to the Oswego Hospital. Mr. Cary was ticketed for Following Too Closely.
On 10/18/08 at 11:00 a.m., a 17 year old male residing in the Town of Hannibal, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Fifth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after he was found to be in possession of property allegedly stolen from a vehicle that was parked outside of a Town of Hannibal residence on 9/18/08. Mr. LaClair was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Hannibal Court on 10/28/08.
On 10/18/08 at 10:39 p.m., a 15 year old male residing in the Village of Lacona, was detained by a member of the Oswego Police Department based on an outstanding Family Court Warrant charging him with Juvenile Delinquency. The youth was turned over to a member of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently transported to a non-secure detention home to await an appearance in Family Court on 10/20/08.
On 10/19/08 at 3:30 a.m., Randy L. Webster, 50, of 3259 US 11, Maple View, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree, and Operation While Registration Suspended (suspended 4/08 for insurance lapse), and No License Plate Lamp, following a traffic stop on SR 3 north of Pople Ridge Road in the Town of Mexico. Released on tickets, Mr. Webster is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Mexico Court on 11/04/08.
On 10/19/08 at 7:40 a.m., Joshawa L. Manford, 31, of 13364 Ira Station Rd., Martville, NY, was arrested at the Cayuga County Jail for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree; and No Tail Lights, stemming from a traffic stop that occurred on 10/03/08 in the Town of Granby, at which time Mr. Manford reportedly fled from the vehicle on foot. Mr. Manford is scheduled to answer these charges before Town of Granby Court on 11/03/08.
On 10/19/08 at 3:37 p.m., Paul D. Burch, 36, of 3166 SR 3, Fulton, NY, was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree; Consumption of Alcohol in a Vehicle; and Speed Over the State Speed Limit following a traffic stop on SR 3 in the Town of Volney. Mr. Burch was arraigned before the Hon. James Aluzzi, Town of Volney Court, and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to return to court on 10/27/08 to answer the charges.
