Oswego County Sheriff’s Office 11/10/2008

On 11/04/08, Katherine A. Jurenko, 34, of 12 Birch Lane, West Monroe, NY, was operating a 1998 Jeep suburban in the parking lot at 688 CR 10 in the Town of Schroeppel when she reportedly backed into a parked, unattended, 1994 Ford registered to David F. Wiley, 39, of 744 CR 10, Pennellville, NY.  Ms. Jurenko reportedly then pulled forward and backed into the parked vehicle a second time before leaving the scene.  Ms. Jurenko was later ticketed for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.  Unsafe backing appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident.

On 11/06/08 at approximately 6:10 p.m., Jennifer A. Plourde, 34, of 3 West Oneida St., Baldwinsville, NY, was reportedly observed traveling south on SR 3 in the Village of Mexico at a high rate of speed.  A subsequent traffic stop led to charges of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspended 10/22/08 for insurance lapse); Operation While Registration Suspended (suspended 9/22/08 for insurance lapse); Speed in Zone; and Operation Without Insurance.  Ms. Plourde was released on tickets returnable to Town of Mexico Court on 11/18/08.

On 11/07/08 at 4:45 p.m., Larry A. Parkhurst, 45, of 338 CR 11, Lot 147, West Monroe, NY, was arrested for Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child, a class D felony, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, after being accused of participating in a course of sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13 over a number of years and for participating in numerous acts of voyeurism with the child while at a Town of West Monroe address.  Mr. Parkhurst was arraigned before the Hon. Patricia Kerfien, Town of Volney Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of West Monroe Court on 11/10/08.

On 11/07/08 at 5:38 p.m., Mark R. Villeneuve, 53, of 234 Pople Ridge Road, Mexico, NY, was arrested based on a bench warrant issued by the Hon. Robert Wood, Town of Palermo Court, charging him with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree; No Inspection Certificate; and Threw Refuse onto Roadway.  Mr. Villeneuve was arraigned before Judge Wood, and released on his own recognizance.  He is scheduled to return to court to answer the charges on 11/10/08.

On 11/07/08 at 11:44 p.m., Patrick C. Russell, 42, of 204 E. Bridge St., Oswego, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, and Inadequate Lighting following a traffic stop after he was observed driving on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba with only one headlight.  During the investigation an outstanding bench warrant charging him with Criminal Impersonation, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, held by Yates County was revealed against Mr. Russell for which he was also arrested.  He was subsequently released on tickets returnable to Town of Scriba Court on 11/20/08 and turned over to a member of theYates County Sheriff’s Office for processing on the warrant.

On 11/08/08 at 3:21 a.m., Adam L. Levea, 28, of 96 Hamilton St., Oswego, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree (convicted of AUO, Third Degree on 3/18/07), and Inadequate Plate Lamp, following a traffic stop on CR 85 in the Town of Granby.  The investigation also revealed an active bench warrant against Mr. Levea out of the City of Oswego.   Mr. Levea was released on tickets returnable to Town of Granby Court on 11/10/08 and turned over to a member of the Oswego Police Department for processing on the bench warrant.

On 11/09/08 at 1:18 a.m., Zachary F. Jackson, 46, of 118 Stock Road, Hannibal, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and Failed to Keep Right, following a traffic stop in the Town of Scriba.  Mr. Jackson had been observed drifting over the center lane while driving in a southerly direction on CR 29, then abruptly swerving back into the southbound lane.  Mr. Jackson was arraigned before Town of Scriba Court and released on his own recognizance.  He is scheduled to return to court on 11/13/08.

On 11/09/08 at 4:43 a.m., Ervin J. Adams, Jr., 36, of 283 CR 64, Bldg. 3865, Mexico, NY, was arrested at his residence following the investigation into a one-vehicle accident that occurred in the Town of Palermo.  Mr. Adams had reportedly been driving a 2005 Ford SUV westbound on CR 4 when he failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of SR 3.  He then reportedly drove through the intersection and lost control with the vehicle leaving the north side of the highway, locked the brakes and skidded through a tree, and into the earthen embankment approximately five feet from the southeast corner of a house located at 1908 CR 4, coming to rest on top of the tree.  Mr. Adams was located at his residence and subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Mr. Adams was issued appearance tickets, released to a third party, and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Palermo Court on 11/17/08.
