Sheriff’s Department 06/09/2008

On 5/27/08, Alexander R. Watros, 19, of 452 East Stone Road, Mexico, NY, was arrested at 9:33 p.m. for Criminal Contempt, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after he reportedly violated a Stay-Away Order of Protection by accompanying the woman named in the order to a court appearance in the Town of Mexico. Mr. Watros is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Mexico Court on 6/10/08.On 6/05/08, Donald E. Stewart, 60, of PO Box 142, Fulton, NY, was operating a 2001 Chrysler southbound on SR 481 in the Town of Scriba at 11:59 a.m. when he reportedly rear-ended a southbound 1996 Buick driven by Patricia A. Kyle, 40, of PO Box 3142, Oswego, NY. The incident occurred at the intersection of Churchill Road as Ms. Kyle was attempting to make a left turn onto Churchill Road. Driver inattention appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident. Mr. Stewart was ticketed for Following Too Closely.

On 6/06/08 at 11:05 a.m., Casey A. Rowe, 21, of 23 Towsley Road, Pulaski, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspended 4/02/08 for failing to pay a fine in Watertown), and No Inspection Certificate, following a traffic stop after he was observed driving eastbound on CR 28 bearing an outdated inspection certificate. Mr. Rowe was ticketed and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Richland Court on 6/23/08 before being released to a third party.

On 6/06/08 at 11:44 a.m., Angela M. Quackenbush, 20, of 771 CR 28, Pulaski, NY, was arrested based on a bench warrant held by the Oswego Police Department charging her with violating the Alcohol and Beverage Law by possessing alcohol under age 21. Ms. Quackenbush was turned over to a member of the Oswego Police Department for further processing.

On 6/06/08 at 11:04 p.m., Frank H. Hamilton, 28, of 4997 SR 3, Mexico, NY, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, a violation, stemming from an initial complaint that he had been on Main Street in the Village of Mexico screaming and yelling. Further investigation found him walking in front of the FasTrac convenience store. When questioned, Mr. Hamilton reportedly continued to use obscene language when ordered to stop and was subsequently arrested. He was arraigned before the Hon. Dale Bigelow, Town of Mexico Court, in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 6/24/08 to answer the charge.

On 6/07/08, Ruth N.Vasquez, 20, of 618 Cayuga Street, Fulton, NY, was operating a 2000 Nissan northbound on SR 481 in the Town of Schroeppel at 12:29 a.m. when she reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel ¾ of a mile south of SR 264. The vehicle then crossed the median and struck a mile marker post off 481 South, then struck a tree on the west side of the road. Ms. Vasquez, the sole occupant, was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Syracuse.

On 6/07/08 at 1:56 a.m., Luke A. Felsentreger, 27, of 7114 SR 104, Oswego, NY, was arrested for Assault, Third Degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a brief foot pursuit after he was found behind his residence. He is accused of engaging in an argument with a female victim during which he reportedly caused physical injury to her by pushing her into a window, leaving a chard of glass in her upper right shoulder. Mr. Felsentreger was arraigned before the Hon. Michael Sterio, Town of Oswego Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 6/16/08.

On 6/07/08 at 9:35 p.m., Mark A. Allen, 38, of 261 Biddlecum Road, Phoenix, NY, was arrested for Assault, Third Degree, a class E felony, after he was accused of causing physical injury to two males by punching each of the victims one time each, an act that took place at the Pennellville Field Days. One victim was treated at the scene for an injury to his face. The other victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries to his face and mouth. The act was allegedly a reaction by Mr. Allen as one of the victims reportedly approached Mr. Allen from behind yelling something. After punching the first victim, which landed him on the ground, the second victim was reportedly punched as he attempted to grab Mr. Allen to prevent him from leaving. Mr. Allen was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Schroeppel Court on 7/09/08.

On 6/08/08 at 3:26 a.m., Basil L. Brown, 45, of 8 Hill St., Pulaski, NY, was arrested for Criminal Impersonation, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, following an incident that occurred outside PJ’s bar located in the Village of Pulaski after he allegedly unlawfully identified himself as a Police Officer, poking a male victim in the chest. The incident occurred as the victim was reportedly attempting to quell a potential problem after he encountered Mr. Brown yelling at another man. Mr. Brown was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Village of Pulaski Court on 6/19/08.

On 6/08/08, Kevin A. Dickinson, 19, of 892 Town Road, Pulaski, NY, was operating a 1999 Chevrolet suburban westbound on CR 28 in the Town of Richland at 5:18 p.m., reportedly starting in traffic when he collided with a northbound 2008 Ford pickup truck operated by Jean M. Eaton, 27, of 477 Kipp Road, Parish, NY, being operated on US Route 11. Mr. Dickinson then reportedly left the scene and was located on Lehigh Road. Mr. Dickinson was ticketed for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Failure to Yield the Right of Way at Stop Sign Intersection.
