Assembly & Senate Republicans, Crime Victims Call For Greater Public Safety Measures

ALBANY – Assembly Republican Leader Will Barclay, Senate Republican Leader Rob Ortt, members of their conferences, family members of crime victims, victims’ rights advocates and representatives from law enforcement will hold a press conference on Monday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. to highlight the need for greater judicial discretion, as well as other public safety policies, to reverse the ill-effects of criminal justice “reforms” enacted in recent years.
