Statement From Assemblyman Will Barclay On Novelis’ Oswego Hot Mill Restart

I was pleased to learn that, after nine months of recovery efforts following the fires at the Oswego facility, Novelis’ hot mill is back online.

The employees, contractors and partners who worked around the clock to rebuild the site deserve tremendous credit for their perseverance throughout this process. Their hard work helped restore an operation that is vital to our region.

I wish Novelis continued success as it ramps up production.
