FULTON, NY – Exelon Generation Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Systems Engineer and NAYGN Chapter President Peter Frantellizzi and Site Vice President Peter Orphanos presented Oswego County Opportunities Development Coordinator Margaret Barclay with a check for $10,000 in support of OCO’s upcoming “Giving Thanks for 50 Years” event.
A celebration marking the 50th anniversary of OCO’s incorporation in 1966, “Giving Thanks for 50 Years” takes place November 3 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at the Lake Ontario Convention Center in Oswego.
Exelon is a Gold Level Sponsor of the event.
“The employees at Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station are proud to be able to support the important work of Oswego County Opportunities and the vital services they provide to thousands in our communities,” said Pete Orphanos, site vice president. “We’re grateful to be a part of the greater Oswego County community.”
“Giving Thanks for 50 Years will feature music by Cortini Brothers, tables with samples of harvest season foods prepared and donated by several of the area’s restaurants, and wine and craft beer to complement the assorted dishes.
