FULTON – On Saturday, June 13, GRB held a graduation parade for the seniors from 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Teachers and staff from the high school, junior high, and all four elementary schools got together and formed lines from GRB to the Fulton Junior High. Seniors passed by in their cars with their families and staff congratulated each senior.

“It was actually a lot more fun than I thought it’d be,” senior Alexis Boots said.

At the end of the parade, seniors were given a bag of goodies, a slice of pizza, and some water.

Senior John Halstead said, “I think it was a really good idea.”

Many cars were decorated and some seniors even brought bubble guns and silly string to spray some of the staff.

“I think it was great for the kids and helped make up for some of the things they missed out on due to this pandemic,” senior parent Jill Watkins said.

Next up is five graduation ceremonies for seniors. Each senior picks one ceremony and signs up through email. If you have not signed up for a graduation day and time yet, ask your parents/guardians if they received an email. If not, email [email protected].

Congratulations to the Class of 2020!
