‘Recollections’ Exhibition Portrays

Loretto Health and Rehabilitation Center resident Randy Bowling holds the catalog for a traveling SUNY Oswego art exhibition titled “Recollections: Storytelling Through Mementos.” Oswego student artists (from left) Julie Farquhar, Kayla Matthews, Miles Petersen and Mercedes Buhner joined art faculty members Rebecca Mushtare and Michael Flanagan in installing the month-long exhibition April 29 near the residential elevator of the main building at 700 E. Brighton Ave. in Syracuse, one of Loretto’s 19 specialized care programs in Onondaga and Cayuga counties. Petersen holds a pyramidal graphic art piece depicting Bowling’s memento and telling his story of it.
