Submitted by SUNY Oswego

OSWEGO — SUNY Oswego RSVP staff members Ellen Wahl and Helen Milam will offer an overview of retirement options at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Pulaski Public Library.

Phyllis Langdon, representing Experience Works Inc., also will discuss her organization’s federally funded employment program for low-income people 55 and older.

The Lunch ‘n’ Learn presentations, titled “Life After Retirement and Experience Works,” will end at noon with an optional lunch at The Make Sense Shop, a learning center operated by Pulaski Academy and Central School.

Among the options for retirees, Wahl and Milam will address volunteerism, second career/additional income and more. Langdon will talk about how seniors can improve their lives through training, community service and employment.

RSVP, a federal initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service, suggests calling 312-2317 by Oct. 5 to reserve a place and for more information about this or its other programs. SUNY Oswego and the United Way sponsor RSVP locally, with an office in Room 103 of Rich Hall.
