Principal Mary Beth Fierro said, “The students and their families were greeted at the door with brightly colored balloons and the smiling faces of CER faculty and staff.”

Each family was checked and given an informational packet filled with materials to help make the transition into kindergarten a smooth one.

Students were divided into groups and given a tour of the building.

The tour was guided by the CER faculty and included stops at a kindergarten classroom, the library, gym and a school bus.

Parents and guardians remained in the all purpose room where a comprehensive program was presented that featured all aspects of the school day, expectations, policies and procedures.

The Class of 2023 joined their families in the APR and the program closed with refreshments supplied by the CER Home and School Association.

Riley School will welcome 88 kindergarten students and their families in September.
