Single-game Laker Hockey Tickets Go On Sale Oct. 8

OSWEGO, N.Y. – Single-game tickets for the upcoming 2012-13 Oswego State men’s and women’s ice hockey seasons will go on sale Oct. 8.

Tickets may be purchased several ways, including in-person at the Campus Center Box Office, the SUNY Oswego Downtown location and the Tyler Hall Box Office, over the phone by calling 315-312-3073 or 315-312-2141, and online at

Prices remain fixed at $8 for the public to men’s and women’s ice hockey contests, but tickets purchased online will be charged a $2 convenience fee per order.

The contests will not appear on the online ticketing page until 10 a.m. on Oct. 8.

The Campus Center Box Office hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday-Friday.  The Tyler Hall Box Office hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday.

Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the SUNY Oswego Downtown location between the hours of 12-5 p.m. on Wednesday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday.

Ticketing procedures for SUNY Oswego students wishing to pick up their complimentary ticket will remain the same.  Complimentary student tickets will be available at the Campus Center Box Office with a valid ID beginning the Monday prior to the contest and continuing through the week.

The men’s ice hockey season begins on Oct. 20 with an exhibition game against the USA Under-18 National Team at 7 p.m. followed by the season opener versus Cortland on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.

Additional games of interest early in the year include the annual White-Out Weekend on Nov. 30-Dec. 1 when the Lakers face Potsdam on Nov. 30 and Plattsburgh on Dec. 1.

The Pathfinder Bank/Oswego Hockey Classic will be held Dec. 30-31.

The women’s ice hockey season also starts on Oct. 20 with an exhibition contest versus the Toronto Midget Aeros at 3 p.m.  Oswego State’s regular season home opener will be Nov. 3 against ECAC West opponent Utica at 7 p.m.

The Lakers also host seven straight games from Nov. 19-Dec. 11.

Senior Day will take place on Feb. 9 versus Elmira.

Fans who wish to attend either ice hockey game on Oct. 20 are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible due to the high demand for tickets during Family and Friends Weekend.
