MEN’S C – SLOW

THIRSTY’S 7 CATHY’S WINGS 0 ( FORFEIT )

Thirsty won this C-Slow pitch game 7 to 0 by forfeit.

CHEAP SEATS 7 CSC PROPERTY MANAGEMENT 2

Led by Phil Kelly’s two triples Cheap Seats defeated CSC Property Management by a score of 7 to 2. Kelly’s triples were two of the 10 hits collected by Cheap Seats as Will Dumont had a single and double, while Scott Kettenberg had two hits. Justin Buske had two hits while Mark Wiggins had a double for CSC Property Management

MEN’S B – SLOW

GARY’S 17 ALLIANCE 8

A seven run sixth put the game away as Gary’s defeated Alliance by a score of 17 to 8. Greg Lavery had three hits and a home run to lead Gary’s. Also aiding the Gary’s Attack with three singles and double was Josh Flett, while Ron Cahill singled doubled and homered. Joey Bartosek had two hits. Leading Alliance with three hits and a double was Ken Maynes, while robin Castor had two singles and a triple, and Bob Kelly added two singles and a double.

CHEAP SEATS 7 SCRIBA TOWN INN 0 (forfeit )

Cheap seats was credited with a 7 to 0 forfeit win over Scriba Town Inn.

MEN’S D – SLOW

FRONT DOOR 16 LA GRAFF’S 14

Front Door erupted for 4 runs in the first inning, only to see La Graff’s scored 13 of their own. Front Door then turned on the offense and defense as they outscored La Graff’s 12 to 1 the rest of the way to claim a come from behind 16 to 14 win. After La Graff’s sent 17 men to the plate in the first inning, Front Door began to battle back as they sent 12 men to the plate in the third scoring 6 times to close the gap to 2. Jeff Hoffman led off the inning and latter scored, as did Mike Mc Carthy Jr, Bruce Maynes Tom Pullen, Mike Mc Carthy SR, John Ferry and Matt Bacon who all hit safely in the inning. Front Door tied the game in the fourth as they scored three times. In the sixth Bacon and Henry Borick hit safely and scored on a single by Mc Carthy Jr. After that Front Door shut down La Graff’s. Jim Rafte had three hits for Front Door as did Mc Carthy Sr. , and Hoffman. Ferry, Borick, Mc Carthy Jr, and Maynes had two hits each, while Bacon had four. Leading La Graff’s with two hits each most of them in the first inning was Joe Garafalo, John Byrnes, Bob Garafalo, AJ Thurlow, Mark Sledzonia, Joe Salazzo, Rich Runner, Harry Darling jr, and Matt Natoli. Bob Garafalo and Thurlow had three hits each.

CHEAP SEATS 23 NINE MILE 5

Cheap Seats improved their record to 3 wins against one loss and moved into a first place tie with La Graff’s as they defeated Nine Mile 23 to 5. leading 13 to 5, Cheap Seats scored 10 times in the sixth to put the game out of reach. Dan Goodrow had a single and a home run for cheap Seats, while Ryan Delong had two doubles and two triples. George Delong added a single and three doubles. Nine Mile was led by Nick Tryt with a triple and homer, while Cliff Wendt and Ryan Carey had two hits each.

MENS C – FAST

MC ANULTY’S 7 SOUTH FORTY 6

South 40 was held to five hits as they fell to Mc Anulty’s by a score of 7 to 6. Leading Mc Anulty’s with two singles and a double was Jeremy Thompson., Frank Files added two hits, while Terry Thompson, Joey Bartosek, Brandon Pitcher and Chris Cahill all reached base safely. Of The five Hits, Robe Sherman, Jim Lagoe, Corey Sullivan and Steve Young got four of them.
