The JV girls’ volleyball team moved to 7-0 with a 2-1 win over Central Square.
Oswego lost the first game 25-14, but rallied for wins of 26-24 and 25-18.
Coach Ted Beers said, “We did not come out prepared and lost badly in the first set. We were late with our contacts and did not communicate well. In the second set we put forth a great effort and played the ball better. In the third we cam out with a little bit more fire in our eyes and a hop in our step. This was the volleyball we needed the entire night.”
Cydney Ward had a kill and an ace while Kaleigh Fitzsimmons had an ace and assist. Laura Naron had an ace and Taylor Giglio two assists. Sarah Fox had three aces while Maggie Mooney had an ace and assist. Carlie Morley has an ace, Kat McNulty a kill, Miklayla Place a kill, Tayler Bowman and Danielle Faivus a dig each.
