APW Athletic Director Bert Conklin recognized four coaches for dedicating 25 years or more to APW athletics and presented each with a Coach’s Award during the 2011 athletic banquet. From left: Douglas Meredith, 35 years of service; Grant Decker, a three-time Coach of the Year recipient, 37 years of service; Conklin; Steve Fox, 26 years of service; and Brian Walsh, 31 years of service. During his presentation, Conklin said, “These four coaches have made a difference in the lives of many. It was not their win or loss record that made the difference, but their dedication to the students of APW.”
