PARISH – The new Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District Weightlifting Team recently traveled to Hannibal High School and participated in its first competition ever.

All six competitors scored personal records in both the dead lift and bench press. Jenna Brockett placed fourth in the Girl’s Division with a bench press of 75 pounds and dead lift of 200 pounds.
The results of the 11th Grade Boy’s Division are as follows:
Takota Jacobson, BP: 240, DL: 450, 6th place
Jordan Mull, BP: 245, DL: 405, 10th place
Hunter Hull, BP: 230, DL: 430, 15th place
Hayden Kimber, BP: 195, DL: 305, 20th place
Kenny Bush, BP: 180, DL: 325, 21st place
“I’m very proud of everyone,” said coach Jeff Bzdick. “Especially at this particular event as there was only one station, which meant that everyone competed alone in front of the entire audience.”
Bzdick said they are looking forward to future competitions and bringing home some trophies.
The next competition at Hannibal is in the works for June.
