Auburn Overpowers Oswego Girls’ Lacrosse

We came out very hard vs. hosting Auburn on Thursday.

We played them a few days before and for the first 20 minutes of the game we were not far behind them.

We were matching them in shots and defensively keeping pace with them.

The second half we did not take care of the ball offensively as much as we needed to.

We had several missed opportunities on the offensive end of the field but I am very happy with the defensive effort we got today.

We have three games a week for the remainder of the season and we need to keep our defense going but we have to start going to goal more as a group and get more shots off.

The group we have can shoot and that needs to become our theme for the remainder of the season – outshoot our opponent.
