6:00          Lakeview Lanes struck down Tavern on the Lock, 7-1. Lakeview Lanes scored two runs in the top of the second inning and Tavern on the Lock scored their only run in the bottom of the inning. Eric Carlson singled twice, scored a run and drove in two RBIs for Lakeview Lanes as Gary Kemp and Josh Archibeque each singled twice, scored a run and knocked in a RBI. Jeff Funk doubled, singled and scored for Tavern on the Lock, Larry Peterson singled twice and walked while Joe Houghtaling doubled and singled.
7:00          Lakeview Lanes took game two over Tavern on the Lock, 12-11 in eight innings. Both teams scored three runs in the first inning with Tavern on the Lock adding three runs in the second. Lakeview Lanes responded with four runs in the third to take the lead by one. Tavern on the Lock added five runs in the next couple of innings, but Lakeview Lanes tied it with five runs in the bottom of the seventh. Lakeview Lanes defense held Tavern on the Lock to no runs in the eighth while they scored the winning run. Mike Bobik sliced three singles, scored three runs and drove in three RBIs for Lakeview Lanes, Mark Musumeci doubled, singled, scored once and knocked in two runs while Gary Kemp doubled, singled twice, scored and drove in two RBIs. Wendell Buckman belted a two-run home run, singled twice, walked, scored another run and drove in an additional RBI for Tavern on the Lock, Larry Peterson singled twice, scored and drove in a run while Jeff Funk tripled twice, singled, scored twice and sacrificed in a run.
8:00          Oswego NAPA tuned up Yablonski’s Softball, 9-5. Yablonski’s Softball scored a run in the second, two in the third and two in the fifth while Oswego NAPA scored three runs in the second, third and fifth to take the win. Mike Guernsey doubled twice, scored twice and amassed three RBIs for Oswego NAPA, Kenny Maynes singled twice, scored twice and drove in two runs while Mark Wiggins singled twice and scored twice. Wayne Parker doubled, singled and scored for Yablonski’s Softball, Travis Kimball reached base three times and knocked in two RBIs as Aaron Rowan singled twice.
9:00          Oswego NAPA needed eight innings to get past Yablonski’s Softball, 12-9. Oswego NAPA scored three runs in the first while Yablonski’s Softball pulled within a run with single runs in the first and second innings. Six runs in the third gave Yablonski’s Softball the lead in the third before Oswego NAPA began cutting into the deficit with a pair of runs in the fourth. After Oswego NAPA took the lead with three runs in the sixth, Yablonski’s Softball tied the game with a run in the home half of the inning. The game went extra innings when neither team scored in the seventh where Oswego NAPA tallied three runs for the lead while holding Yabloskis’s Softball scoreless. Mike Guernsey smacked four hits, scored twice and delivered four RBIs to pace Oswego NAPA, Pete Galletta doubled, singled twice, scored thrice and drove home three runs while Jim Higgins singled three times, walked, scored three runs and knocked in a run. Steve Yablonski rapped three singles, scored once and drove in two runs for Yablonski’s Softball, Matt Bacon belted a three-run double, singled and scored once as Chad Jones smashed a RBI singled and scored twice.
