City of Fulton Fall Softball League results for Tuesday, September 16

6:00           C&S Moving rallied to win against Wyant Contracting, 24-22.  C&S Moving scored a run in the first inning and three in the second while Wyant Contracting exploded for eight runs in the second to take the lead.  Wyant Contracting added four runs in the third and eight more in the fourth to maintain the lead.  C&S Moving pecked away in the fourth, fifth and sixth to tie the game at 22.  C&S Moving scored two runs in the top of the seventh while the defense didn’t allow a run to score for Wyant Contracting.  Fausto Ramirez launched a three-run home run, two-run home run, singled, walked, scored a run and amassed seven RBIs for C&S Moving, Greg Lavery lined two doubles, three singles, scored three times and knocked in six RBIs while Mike Iauco doubled, singled twice, scored four runs and drove in two runs.  Ed Hatten doubled, singled twice, scored four runs and knocked in four RBIs for Wyant Contracting, Craig Sterling Jr. lined a three-run inside-the-park home run, singled, scored an additional run and two additional RBIs as Craig Sterling Sr. doubled twice, singled, walked, scored three runs and drove in two.

7:00           C&S Moving came from behind to win against Wyant Contracting, 7-6.  A walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh by Greg Lavery gave C&S Moving the win in game two.  Greg Lavery lined a solo home run, doubled in a run singled twice driving in another run and scored for C&S Moving, Fausto Ramirez blasted a two-run home run and singled as Jim Smith doubled, singled, and knocked a run home.  Josh Mills reached base twice, scored twice and drove in two runs for Wyant Contracting, Kurtis Mills slapped a two-run inside-the-park home run and sacrificed in an RBI as Dennis Green doubled in a run and singled.

8:00           Snipes defeated Empire Seal Coating, 16-15.  Snipes scored two runs in each of the first four innings while Empire Seal Coating scored only four runs.  Bats started moving in the sixth inning for Snipes, tallying seven runs while Empire Seal Coating rallied in the bottom of the seventh, but fell short one run.  Greg Distin crushed a two-run inside-the-park home run, tripled twice, singled, scored twice and amassed four RBIs for Snipes, Nick Huffman sliced three singles, scored once and drove in three RBIs as Harl French doubled twice, singled, scored two runs and two RBIs.  Dave Wallace smacked three home runs amassing five RBIs for Empire Seal Coating, Craig Trude blasted a two-run home run, doubled, singled and scored while Zach Keib smashed a solo home run, singled in a run and scored.

9:00           Snipes pierced Empire Seal Coating, 16-6.  Empire Seal Coating scored twice in the first while Snipes taking a one-run advantage with three scores in the bottom of the inning.  Nine runs in the second led to the large margin of victory for Snipes coupled with defense which only allowed runs scored on home runs by Empire Seal Coating.  Greg Distin drilled two home runs (one inside-the-park), a double, a single, scored three runs and delivered six RBIs to pace Snipes, Louis French slugged a home run, two triples, scored three times and drove in four runs while Ted Cole reached base three times, scored three runs and knocked in a pair of RBIs.  Craig Trude blasted a monster two-run home run, two singles and scored twice for Empire Seal Coating, Jason Trude socked a two-run home run and singled as Dave Wallace and Joel Vescio each swatted solo homers.
