City of Fulton Fall Softball League results for Wednesday, September 10

6:00           Huhtamaki encased Lakeview Lanes, 11-2.  Huhtamaki tallied a pair of runs in each of the first two innings, three runs in the third and seventh and a run in the fourth while holding Lakeview Lanes to a pair of runs in the seventh.  Josh Giacolone doubled twice, singled twice, scored twice and drove in two RBIs for Huhtamaki, Henry Calabro doubled, singled twice and delivered two RBIs as Shane Crandell socked a two-run home run and scored following a base hit.  Jerry Devendorf and Roy Hart each reached base twice and drove in a run for Lakeview Lanes, Shawn Demars singled twice as Adam Pawlenko and Billy Orr Jr. each rapped a hit and scored once.

7:00           Huhtamaki held off Lakeview Lanes for a 19-16 win.  Huhtamaki rallied for eight runs in the third and five in the fourth to take a ten run lead into the seventh.  Lakeview Lanes tallied seven runs in the seventh to threaten the lead but fell short.  Dustin Cook crushed three three-run home runs and a RBI double to amass ten RBIs for Huhtamaki, Shawn Best belted two home runs and delivered four RBIs as Ed Wood lined a pair of RBI doubles, singled, walked and scored three times.  Adam Pawlenko stroked three singles, scored twice and delivered two RBIs for Lakeview Lanes, Jerry Devendorf tripled, singled twice, walked, scored twice and drove in a run as Chris Demars and Jack Crego each singled three times, scored once and knocked in two RBIs.

8:00           Save-A-Lot stripped Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, 23-0.  After taking a one-run lead in the first, Save-A-Lot rallied for fifteen more in the second.  BJ Bocyck slugged a grand slam, a three-run home run and a RBI singled for Save-A-Lot, Wray Ingison singled three times, walked, scored four times and delivered three runs as Bob Hughson reached base three times, scored three runs and drove in three RBIs.  John Turner doubled and singled for Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s while Romeo Kee, Mike Kessler, Richard Walter and Dwayne Chenette each singled.

9:00           Save-A-Lot stunned Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, 22-7.  Save-A-Lot tallied seven runs in the first inning while Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s scored three in the bottom of the first before Save-A-Lot scored another seven runs in the third.  BJ Bocyck homered, doubled, singled, walked, scored three times and delivered three RBIs for Save-A-Lot, Steve Burrows socked a two-run home run, singled twice and scored twice as Bim Ashby and John Allen each reached base three times, scored three runs and drove in two RBIs.  John Turner drilled a two-run triple, singled twice and scored once for Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, Mike Kessler doubled home two runs and singled while Joe Burton smacked an inside-the-park home run, doubled, singled and scored three times.
