6:00          Save-A-Lot took game one against Huhtamaki, 10-7. Save-A-Lot had the lead through the fourth, with Huhtamaki taking the lead by 7-5 in the fifth. Save-A-Lot came back with five runs in the sixth to win the game. Bim Ashby sliced three singles, scored a run and drove in four RBIs for Save-A-Lot, BJ Bocyck lined three doubles, scored three runs and knocked in a run as Steve Burrows crushed a two-run home run, singled, scored a run and drove in another. Dustin Cook tripled, singled twice and knocked in an RBI for Huhtamaki, Tighe Howell ripped two singles and scored as Don LaBarge tripled, singled and scored.
7:00          Save-A-Lot squeezed Huhtamaki, 25-12. The game was tied with one run in the first inning and Huhtamaki took the lead in the second inning with eight runs, allowing only seven runs from Save-A-Lot. Save-A-Lot retook and kept the lead with five runs in the third. BJ Bocyck launced a three-run home run, two-run home run, doubled in a run and scored for Save-A-Lot, Steve Burrows blasted two two-run home runs, doubled twice, scored a run and drove in another as Wray Ingison laced three doubles, two walks, scored three runs and amassed five RBIs. Shawn Best drilled a solo home run, tripled in two RBIs and scored a run for Huhtamaki, Mike Chimber reached base three times, scored twice and drove in two RBIs as Tighe Howell tripled, doubled and scored twice.
8:00          Lakeview Lanes stung Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, 19-7. Lakeview Lanes jumped out in the lead with eleven runs in the first two innings while holding Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s to just seven runs the entire game. Karl LaGray tripled twice, singled, scored three runs and tallied five RBIs for Lakeview Lanes, Adam Pawlenko doubled, singled twice, scored three times and drove in two RBIs as John Haresign and Jack Crego each doubled, singled twice, scored twice and drove in three RBIs. Joe Burton tripled, singled twice and scored twice for Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, Richard Walters slapped three singles and scored once as Craig Wacker singled twice scored a run and knocked in a RBI.
9:00          Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s came alive for game two to win over Lakeview Lanes, 15-6. Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s kept the game close until the third inning when they unleashed and scored ten runs. Craig Wacker tripled, singled twice, scored twice and drove in four RBIs for Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, Joe Burton doubled three times, scored twice and knocked in three RBIs as John Turner tripled, doubled, singled, scored twice and drove in a run. Shawn Demars reached base twice, scored twice and knocked in two RBIs for Lakeview Lanes, Jack Crego tripled, singled twice and drove in a run as Bill Card doubled, singled and knocked in a run.
