6:00 F (M-H) Dead End Boyz held off Uniforms, Etc., 7-5. Dead End Boyz tallied all seven runs within the first two innings while Uniforms, Etc. came back with four runs in the fourth and a run in the fifth before being stopped the remainder of the game. Thad Fleming lined a three-run inside-the-park home run and scored following a base hit for Dead End Boyz, Tony Dellomorte rapped three hits to drive home two RBIs and scored once while Toot Bonnie tripled twice, scored twice and knocked in a run. Matt Lenway singled twice, scored a run and drove in one for Uniforms, Etc., Clark Sponable smacked a two-run inside-the-park home run and walked as Mike Smith tripled home two runs and scored once.
7:00 F (M-H) Save-A-Lot II sold Huhtamaki a 17-3 loss. After scoring seven runs in the first two innings, Save-A-Lot II went three up-three down in the third before scoring ten runs within the next three innings. Barry Alton slugged a solo home run, a three-run inside-the-park home run, singled and scored three times for Save-A-Lot II, Dan Crowe tripled, singled three times, scored three runs and drove in a run as Don Laribee doubled, singled, scored three runs and drove home two RBIs. Todd France singled twice for Huhtamaki, Sam Froio singled, walked and scored once while Billy Hutchins singled and scored.
7:45 F (M-H) In a make-up game, Save-A-Lot II shut down Huhtamak, 9-1. Save-A-Lot II held a five-run lead when Huhtamaki scored in the fifth and responded with four runs in their next two at bats for the final score. Don Laribee tripled, doubled, walked, scored three times and drove in a run for Save-A-Lot II, Barry Alton socked a pair of doubles, scored twice and knocked in a run while Mark Alton belted a two-run inside-the-park home run. Billy Hutchins singled twice and scored for Huhtamaki, Todd France reached base twice and drove in the run as Gerry Tarbell blasted a triple.
6:00 D (M-H) Yablonski’s Softball locked up Heritage Homes, 8-5. While Yablonski’s Softball scored their eighth run in the top of the sixth, Heritage Homes was held scoreless until the bottom of the sixth. Tim Cloonan tripled, doubled, singled twice, scored once and knocked in two RBIs for Yablonski’s Softball, Aaron Rowan reached base three times and scored three runs while Matt Bacon doubled, singled twice, scored once and sacrificed a run home. Mickey Grenell tripled, singled twice, scored once and delivered two RBIs for Heritage Homes, Teddy Hoffman tripled a run home, walked twice and scored twice as Joe Houghtaling reached base twice and scored once.
7:00 D (M-G) J&B Ballers received a 7-0 win against Rosie’s Tavern.
8:00 D (M-G) Tractor Supply overcame a hug rally by Wyant Contracting to earn a 18-19 victory. After batting in the top of the third, Tractor Supply held a commanding eleve-run lead (13-2). Wyant Contracting went on the offensive to score fourteen runs and take a three-run lead into the seventh (16-13). In the top of the seventh, the bats of Tractor Supply grew hot again, scoring five runs with two out. Orlo Green smashed a two-run home run, reached base three times and scored three runs for Tractor Supply, Ken Sheldon slugged five hits, scored once and amassed five RBIs as Eric Dempsey tripled a run home, singled twice, walked and scored three times. Kurtis Mills drilled a home run, double, two singles, scored thee times and delivered four RBIs for Wyant Contracting, Dennis Green tripled, doubled, singled, scored three times and drove in two RBIs as Jessie Jones rapped three hits, scored three runs and knocked in a run.
9:00 D (M-G) Save-A-Lot dulled Spear, 20-4. Save-A-Lot rallied for eight runs in the second, five in the third and seven in the fourth to dominate the game. Marty Allen doubled twice, singled, scored three runs and chased home four RBIs for Save-A-Lot, Ed Frost rapped three singles, scored three times and delivered two RBIs as Joel Ingison reached base four times, scored twice and drove in three RBIs. Dave Craig doubled twice, scored twice and drove in two runs for Spear, Scott Briglin and Nick Tryt roped a base hit and scored a run while Oakie Stanski got two runs home.
