City of Fulton Softball League results for Monday, June 23

6:00 F (M-H) Dead End Boyz stopped Huhtamaki, 13-1. Huhtamaki held Dead End Boyz to a run in the first inning before a ten-run out burst in the second put of the game away. Thad Fleming blasted a inside-the-park home run, a triple, walked and scored three runs for Dead End Boyz, Toot Bonnie and Tony Dellomorte each singled twice, scored once and drove in two RBIs as Adam Young raced around the bases for a inside-the-park grand slam. Dave Coant rapped three singles for Huhtamaki, Henry Calabro singled twice as Greg Marshall singled a run home.

6:00 D (M-H) Save-A-Lot II @ Yablonski’s Softball cancelled due to thunder & lightning

7:00 D (M-G)Wyant Contracting closed down Rosie’s Tavern, 11-5. Rosie’s Tavern stayed within a run until Wyant Contracting scored three runs in the fifth and secured the win with five runs in the seventh. Dennis Green homered, slugged a two-run inside-the-park home run, singled and amassed four RBIs for Wyant Contracting, Josh Mills doubled twice, singled, scored twice and drove in a run while Kurtis Mills lined three singles, scored once and knocked in a run. Al Painter lined a pair of RBI singles and walked for Rosie’s Tavern, Adam Pawlenko tripled home two runs and scored once as Karl LaGray tripled, walked and scored once.

8:00 D (M-H) Uniforms, Etc. stripped Heritage Homes, 16-6. Uniforms, Etc rallied for eight runs in the second inning to take control of the game. Clark Sponable belted three inside-the-park home runs to drive in six RBIs for Uniforms, Etc., Matt Lenway homered, tripled, scored three runs and knocked in three RBIs while Rick Mason tripled, singled twice, scored twice and delivered two RBIs. Larry Peterson lined three singles, scored once and drove in four runs for Heritage Homes, Rod Sherman tripled, singled twice and scored three times, Mike Grenell tripled in two runs and singled while Andy Holden reached base twice.

9:00 D (M-G) Tractor Supply mowed down Save-A-Lot, 17-13. Tractor Supply scored five runs in the first and maintained the lead despite efforts by Save-A-Lot to cut into it. Orlo Green smacked a home run, doubled, singled twice, scored three runs and drove in three RBIs for Tractor Supply, Mat Burridge drilled a two-run homer, doubled, reached base a third time, scored three runs and delivered four RBIs as Ken Sheldon socked a three-run blast, singled, walked, reached base a fourth time, scored twice and collected four RBIs. Wray Ingison reached base four times, scored three runs and knocked home three runs for Save-A-Lot, Joel Ingison doubled, singled a run home, walked and scored three times while Craig Sterling Sr doubled twice to knock home four RBIs.
