11:00 D (M-D) Lehigh Cement poured over R-BAR, 15-7. The game was close through the first three innings (8-7), but Lehigh Cement added two unanswered runs in the fourth, and five more in the sixth to keep the lead and win from R-BAR. Justin Farr reached base all four at bats, scoring three runs for Lehigh Cement, Josh Scheirer sliced three singles, scored two runs and knocked in three RBIs as Dave Wheeler reached base three times (one a three-run home run), scored twice and amassed four RBIs. Travis Humphrey lined two doubles, singled, walked, scored a run and drove in three RBIs for R-BAR, Chad Humphrey slapped two singles, scored and knocked in a run while Mike Segouin reached base three times, scored twice and drove in two RBIs.
3:00D (W-C) Lakeview Lanes struck down Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, 16-1. Lakeview Lanes scored eleven runs in the first inning while their defense held Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters to just one run. Lisa Reed slapped four singles, scored three times and drove in an RBI for Lakeview Lanes, Brianna Paice lined four singles and scored once as Heidi Ingison reached base four times, scored four runs and knocked in three RBIs. Carrie Kinney tripled, singled and drove in the RBI for Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, Stacey Lachut singled and scored as Tonya Witkovsky and Laurie Ruprachet each reached base twice.
4:00 D (M-D) AIDS Community Resources won over Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators, 7-0.
5:00 D (W-C) Lakeview Lanes & Us scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to get the win over A&M Softball, 13-12. The game was tied at three in the third and Lakeview Lanes added a run in the fourth to take the lead. A&M Softball broke the game open with nine runs in the fifth with Lakeview Lanes & Us responding with seven in the sixth and the final two runs in the seventh. Michelle Smith singled four times, scored a run and drove in three RBIs for Lakeview Lanes & Us, Jess Humphrey reached base four times, scored twice and knocked in two RBIs as Tasha Sullivan reached base four times and drove in three RBIs. Danica Malone crushed a grand slam, singled and scored for A&M Softball, Amanda Wood sliced three singles, scored a run and knocked in two RBIs as Yvonne Wood doubled, singled, scored a run and drove in two RBIs.
6:00 D (Co-ed) King Pin/Roofs by Frank/Kick-n-Chicken served Cral Contracting a 13-6 score. King Pin/Roofs by Frank/Kick-n-Chicken tied the game in the second while taking a three-run lead in the third until Cral Contracting tallied a one-run lead in the top of the sixth before King Pin/Roofs by Frank/Kick-n-Chicken erupted for eight runs in the bottom of the sixth. Mark Canale ripped a two-run double, two base hits and scored once for King Pin/Roofs by Frank/Kick-n-Chicken, Melissa Townsend reached base three times, scored once and got a run home as BJ Bocyck doubled, singled a run home, walked, and scored twice. Doug Stevens doubled, singled, walked, scored thrice and delivered a pair of RBIs for Cral Contracting, Michelle Smith reached base twice and drove home two runs as Jess Humphrey reached base twice and knocked in a RBI.
7:00 D (Co-ed) King Pin/Roofs by Frank/Kick-n-Chicken held off Cral Contracting, 4-3. King Pin/Roofs by Frank/Kick-n-Chicken scored three runs in the second inning and once in the third while Cral Contracting tallied two runs in the bottom of the third and one in the fourth before the defense tightened to not allow another runner to cross home plate. Marty Allen tripled, doubled twice, scored a run and drove home a run for King Pin/Roofs by Frank/Kick-n-Chicken, Karen Samson singled twice, scored once and knocked in a RBI while Melissa Townsend singled, walked and got a run home. Doug Stevens socked a inside-the-park home run for Cral Contracting, Jess Humphrey and Travis Brandt each singled and scored as Travis Humphrey and Rachel Humphrey each stroked a RBI single and walked.
8:00 D (Co-ed) San Den Floors covered Cral Contracting, 6-5. Cral Contracting scored a run in each of the first three innings for the lead when San Den Floors knotted the game with three runs in the fourth. A run in the fifth gave Cral Contracting the lead once more before San Den Floors tallied a pair of runs in the sixth to capture the advantage. A run in the top of the seventh by Cral Contracting tied the game with Sand Den Floors taking the win in the bottom of the seventh when Erica Clark led-off with a single and Joe Paice reached base safely. Nina Alfano’s fielder’s choice moved Clark to third while Ben Ryther’s fielder’s choice scored Clark with the game winner. Josh Koegel reached base three times and drove home three runs for San Den Floors, Erica Clark singled twice and scored once while Missy Paice singled, walked and scored twice. Jay Humphrey singled twice, walked and delivered a pair of RBIs for Cral Contracting, Chad Humphrey doubled, singled and scored twice as Rachel Humphrey spent her birthday playing four softball games, getting beaned in the head by a throw, reached base twice and scored twice.
9:00 D (Co-ed) Cral Contracting roughed San Den Floors, 10-2. Cral Contracting snapped a tie with five runs in the third inning and added three in the fifth while holding San Den Floors to a pair of runs within the first two innings. Jess Humphrey lined four singles, scored twice and drove in a run for Cral Contracting, Travis Humphrey doubled, walked twice, scored once and delivered four RBIs as Doug Stevens smacked a RBI double, singled and scored twice. Bree Paice, Ben Ryther and Joe Griffin each singled twice for San Den Floors, Missy Paice and Al Gates each singled and scored as Joe Paice doubled a run home.
