City of Fulton Softball League Results for Sunday, June 29

12:00 F(W-D)  Shepard Enterprises got a 7-0 win over 4 Season’s Contracting/FTS/Poormans.

1:00 F(W-D) 4 Season’s Contracting/FTS/Poormans rallied past Shepard Enterprises, 26-14.  After nearly dethroning the undefeated team Thursday, Shepard Enterprise was poised to upset the second place team by heading into the seventh inning trailing by one until a eleven-run rally in the top of the seventh lifted 4 Season’s Contracting/FTS/Poormans to victory.  Krista LoCastro slugged a home run, triple, single, walked, scored twice and delivered eight RBIs for 4 Season’s Contracting/FTS/Poormans, Lori ‘The Scorer’ Maher scored six runs, tripled, doubled, drew three walks and drove in two RBIs as Krista Peters tripled, singled twice, scored once and knocked home there runs.  Jen Middleton tripled, singled, walked twice and drove home four RBIs for Shepard Enterprises, Jolene Clark tripled home two runs and scored twice while Lori Libbey and April McCord each scored four times.

3:00 F (M-D) It took eight innings for Pittsburgh Paint/Purcell’s Paints to get past Butler Fence, 18-12.  Pittsburgh Paint/Purcell’s Paints scored five runs in each of the first two innings before tallying eight in the extra stanza while Butler Fence scored ten runs within the second, third and fourth innings.  Josh LeVea lined a two-run inside-the-park home run, a triple, a double and scored twice for Pittsburgh Paint/Purcell’s Paints, Joe Kulle rapped three singles, scored twice and knocked in three RBIs as TJ Duger singled, tripled, scored three runs and drove in a run.  Bryan Elsworth singled three times, scored twice and drove in two runs for Butler Fence, Toby McCleery smacked four base hits, scored once and knocked in a run as Ken Ackerman drilled a RBI triple, singled twice and scored a run.

4:00 F (M-D) Pittsburgh Paint/Purcell’s Paints reconstructed Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators, 28-6.  Pittsburgh Paint/Purcell’s Paints held a eleven-run lead before erupting for fifteen runs in the sixth inning while Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators countered with four runs.  Josh LeVea smacked a inside-the-park home run, two triples, two doubles, scored five runs and drove in seven RBIs for Pittsburgh Paint/Purcell’s Paints, Levin LeClair drilled a pair of three-run inside-the-park home runs, singled, scored three times and amassed seven RBIs while Mike Maizewski banged out five hits, scored twice and knocked in four RBIs.  Harry Bickford singled twice, scored twice and drove in two runs for Roofs by Frank/ Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators, Pete Galletta singled, walked, scored once and drove in a run as John Williams singled in two runs.

2:00 D (M-D) McDonald’s held off Lehigh Cement’s comeback, 10-7.  McDonald’s held the lead the entire game and only allowed Lehigh Cement the opportunity to score in the first, second and seventh innings.  Dan Cooley doubled twice, singled, scored four times and drove in four RBIs for McDonald’s, Sean Bracy lined three singles and scored once as Rob Bracy smacked two singles and knocked in three RBIs.  Tony Hildreth ripped two singles, scored a run and drove in three RBIs for Lehigh Cement, Jeremy Walker doubled, singled, walked twice and scored twice as Dave Wheeler doubled in two runs, walked and scored once.

3:00 D (M-D) McDonald’s pounded R-BAR, 15-6.  R-BAR scored the first two runs of the game before McDonald’s scored three runs in the second and added runs in the every inning thereafter.  Jim D’Imperio tripled twice, singled, walked, scored twice and delivered four RBIs for McDonald’s, Tony Polzon doubled, singled twice, scored twice and drove in three runs as Dan Cooley smacked three hits, scored twice and knocked in a run.  Travis Humphrey doubled, singled twice, scored once and drove in a run for R-BAR, Jim Stanski reached base three times, scored once and knocked in a RBI as Pete Ravesi singled, scored and delivered three RBIs.

4:00D (M-I) Issue’s swept past Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, 14-5.  Issue’s took control of the game with nine runs in their final three at bats.  Ben Ryther reached base three times, scored three runs and drove in three runs for Issue’s, Joe Griffin singled three times, scored twice and knocked in two RBIs as Jeff Koegel doubled, singled, scored three times and drove in two runs.  John Turner homered, singled, scored twice and drove in two runs for Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, Dustin Pulsifer reached base twice and scored twice as Alex Baker singled twice and drove in a run.
