City of Fulton Softball League Results for Thursday, July 3

6:00 F (W-D) Lakeview Lanes & Us survived A&M Softball, 17-16.  A&M Softball built a four-run lead until Lakeview Lanes & Us rallied for eight runs in the fourth.  A&M Softball scored four runs in the fifth to pull within one while Lakeview Lanes & Us tallied four in the sixth to bump the lead up to five before A&M Softball took a one-run lead on a grand slam leading into the seventh.  Two runs in the top of the inning kept Lakeview Lanes & Us perfect when the defense made the lead stand in the bottom of the seventh.  Michelle Smith homered, singled, walked, scored four runs and drove in three RBIs for Lakeview Lanes & Us, Charlie Terramiggi tripled, doubled, singled three times, scored twice and delivered four RBIs while Amanda Stevens smacked the game winning two-run home run, singled twice and scored twice.  Danica Malone blasted a grand slam, two singles and knocked home seven RBIs for A&M Softball, Kary Calabro stroked four singles, scored three runs and drove in two runs as Dayna Davis rapped three singles, scored four times and delivered a pair of RBIs.

7:00 F (M-D) Pittsburg Paint/Purcell’s Paints white-washed McDonald’s, 20-5.  Seven runs in the first and eight in the fourth gave Pittsburg paint/Purcell’s Paints an unsurmountable lead.  Devin LeClair tripled twice, doubled, scored twice and knocked in four RBIs for Pittsburg Paints/Purcell’s Paints, Mike Smith doubled, singled, scored a run and delivered five runs as Joe Kulle reached base and scored three times while driving in a pair of RBIs.  Mick Mulcahy slugged a trio of triples, scored three runs and drove in two runs for McDonald’s, Rob Bracy singled and sacrificed twice for two RBIs while Tony Polzin singled twice.

6:00 D (M-D) Gorman’s broke down Butler Fence, 7-4.  Gorman’s held a one-run lead before rallying for four runs in the third inning while holding Butler Fence to a run in the fifth and two in the sixth.  Harlon French homered, singled and scored twice for Gorman’s while Shawn Perry and Craig Distin each lined a double, a single, scored once and drove in two runs.  Bryan Elsworth reached base five times and scoredonce for Butler Fence, Ken Ackerman doubled and singled twice while Toby McCleery singled twice and knocked in a run.

7:00 D (M-D) R-BAR served a 11-9 score to Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators.  Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators took the lead in the third and held it until R-BAR tied the game in the top of the fifth.  Four runs in the sixth gave R-BAR the lead while holding Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators to two runs.  Travis Humphrey lined a two-run inside-the-park home run (the game winner), two base hits, walked, scored four runs and amassed three RBIs for R-BAR, Chad Humphrey rapped a pair of RBI doubles, singled and scored three times as Doug Fischel stroked three singles, scored once and drove in a run.  In a team effort, Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators had nine of ten players either scored and/or drove in a run, walked twice, scored twice and knocked home two runs as Pete Galletta doubled, singled, walked, scored twice and got a run home.

8:00 D (M-D) AIDS Community Resources jack hammered Lehigh Cement, 16-3.  AIDS Community Resources tallied eight runs in the second inning along with four runs in both the first and fourth to control the game.  Mike Kitts socked a three-run home run, two singles, scored three runs and collected four RBIs for AIDS Community Resources, Mike Galvin doubled, singled twice, scored twice and delivered four RBIs while Josh Viscome tripled home two runs, doubled in a run and scored twice.  Jeremy Wheeler tripled two runs home, singled and scored for Lehigh Cement, Josh Scheirer doubled twice and drove in a run while Justin Farr and Dave Wheeler each singled once.
