City of Fulton Softball League Results for Thursday, June 26

6:00 F (W-D) 4 Season’s Contracting/FTS/Poormans bounded past A&M Softball, 15-8.  Nine runs in the first inning gave 4 Season’s Contracting/FTS/Poormans a lead A&M Softball couldn’t overcome.  Roberta Weldin reached base six times, scored twice and delivered three RBIs for 4 Season’s Contracting/FTS/Poormans, Lori Maher homered and reached base four other times, scored three runs and drove in three RBIs as Jolene Stoutenger rapped four hits, scored twice and knocked in three runs.  Rachel Hutchinson doubled home two runs, singled and scored a run for A&M Softball, Brandy Hammond singled twice, walked and drove in two runs as Dayna Davis singled twice, scored once and knocked in a run.

7:00 F (W-D) Lakeview Lanes & Us got a score from Shepard Enterprise, 19-18.  Shepard Enterprise overcame a pair of eight-run innings to take a two-run lead in the top of the seventh before undefeated Lakeview Lanes & Us took the game with three runs in the bottom of the inning.  Ashley Galloway belted a grand slam, a double, two singles, scored twice and amassed six RBIs (including the game winner) for Lakeview Lanes & Us, Marnie Burghdorf smacked three singles, walked, scored twice and drove in two runs as Jess Humphrey reached base three times, scored twice and knocked in three RBIs.  Jenn Middleton crushed a pair of three-run home runs and scored following a base hit for Shepard Enterprise, Jess Shepard rapped four hits, scored four runs and drove in three RBIs while Jolene Clark homered, singled twice, walked, scored twice and knocked in two runs.

6:00 D (M-D) Gorman’s shut down R-BAR, 30-9.  Already sporting a six-run lead, Gorman’s rallied for seventeen runs in the sixth inning.  Craig Distin homered, doubled three times, singled, scored three runs and delivered seven RBIs for Gorman’s, Louis French homered, tripled, singled, walked, scored three times and knocked in six runs as Aaron Knopp lined four hits, scored four times and drove in four RBIs.  Travis Humphrey homered, tripled, singled twice, scored twice and drove in five runs for R-BAR, Chad Humphrey reached base four times, scored three runs and knocked in a run while Pete Ravesi doubled, singled, scored twice and drove in a run.

7:00 D (M-D) Lehigh Cement scored a run in the bottom of the sixth inning to top McDonald’s, 9-8.  Three times McDonald’s tied the game and pulled within a run in the top of an inning only to have Lehigh Cement take the lead in the bottom of the inning.  Mike Canales lined three singles, scored three runs and drove in a run for Lehigh Cement, Tony Hildreth doubled, singled, scored once and delivered three RBIs as Sean Canales swatted a RBI double and two singles.  Nick D’Imperio blasted a two-run home run, doubled and scored twice for McDonald’s, Dan Cooley reached base three times, scored once and drove in two runs while Scott Briggs singled twice, walked and scored twice.

8:00 D (M-D) Butler Fence broke through Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators, 8-3.  Butler Fence scored once in the first, Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators tallied a run in the second and Butler Fence added another in the third before each team added runs in the fifth and Butler Fence padded the lead with three in the sixth.  Frank Muckey socked a two-run inside-the-park home run, a triple, a singled and scored three runs for Butler Fence, Brian Lass singled twice, scored once and sent home a RBI while Steve Baker tripled, scored once and knocked in two runs.  Mike Phelps singled twice, scored once and drove home a run for Roofs by Frank/Lakeview Lanes/Crazy Gators, Bruce Shafer singled twice and scored once as Pete Galletta singled twice.

9:00 D (M-D) AIDS Community Resources scrapped off Pittsburgh Paint/Purcell’s Paints, 18-4.  Ten runs within the first two innings and five more in the fifth were the big innings giving AIDS Community Resources the large lead.  Mike Galvin slugged two home runs, a double, singled, scored four times and drove in five RBIs for AIDS Community Resources, Josh Viscome homered, doubled, singled twice, scored four runs and knocked in five runs while Bill Paterson singled three times, scored once and delivered four RBIs.  Mike Smith blasted a two-run home run for Pittsburgh Paints/Purcell’s Paints, TJ Duger stroked three singles as Nick Hargraves singled, scored once and drove home a run.
