6:00 F (M-E) Caster Well Drilling nipped Muskie’s Brothers, 11-10. Caster Well Drilling tallied three runs in the first with Muskie’s Brothers cutting the lead to one with a pair of runs in the second before two runs in the third by Caster Well Drilling padded the lead. Muskie’s Brothers rallied for six runs in the fifth to take the lead as each team added a run in the sixth. In the seventh, Caster Well Drilling scored five times to capture the lead as Muskie’s Brothers pulled within a run in the bottom of the seventh but couldn’t knot the game. Robin Caster lined three singles, scored three runs and drove in two runs for Caster Well Drilling, Lewis Caster stroked four base hits and scored three runs while Ken Maynes tripled, singled twice, scored twice and knocked in a run. Tom Corsoniti singled twice, scored twice and delivered two RBIs for Muskie’s Brothers, Daryl Baker reached base three times, scored twice and drove in a run while Nick Cole tripled, singled three times and scored once.
7:00 F (M-E) Tavern on the Lock stunned RFH’s Blues Boys 8-6 in eight innings. RFH’s Blues Boys scored a run in the first inning before Tavern on the Lock scored three runs over the next two innings to take the lead. Tavern on the Lock added a run in the sixth before RFH’s Blues Boys knotted the game in the bottom of the inning. Tavern on the Lock scored twice in the seventh to retake the lead only to have RFH’s Blues Boys retie the game and force extra innings. Jerry Devendorf doubled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Mark Pitcher while Greg Krieger singled and scored on a rare fielding error on Brian Frear’s fly ball for a two-run advantage before holding off RFH’s Blues Boys for the win. Hal Duell lined a two-run inside-the-park home run, singled and scored twice for Tavern on the Lock, Mark Pitcher singled twice, walked, scored twice and drove in a run as Tom Cole tripled a run home, singled and scored a run. Chad Merritt and Adam Simon each smacked two hits, scored once and drove in a run for RFH’s Blues Boys, Jayson Johnson singled twice and knocked in a run as Tim Tetro doubled and delivered two runs.
6:00 D (M-E) Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken fed RFH’s Farm Team a 8-3 score. Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken scored seven runs within the first four innings while holding RFH’s Farm Team to single runs in three separate innings. Bill Ruggio singled twice and drove in three RBIs for Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken, Jim Higgins doubled, singled, scored once and knocked home two RBIs as Kenny King and Doug Paro each singled twice and scored twice. Kevin Blair reached base three times and scored twice for RFH’s Farm Team, Billy Ingersoll singled twice and drove home a run as Bruce Ingersoll singled and scored a run.
7:00 D (M-F) Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprise took sole position of first place with a 11-5 victory over Polish Home. The teams tied at five in the third inning while Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprise scored the games final six runs. Dave Garrett socked a inside-the-park home run, singled twice and drove in three RBIs for Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprise, Dave Holden singled, walked twice and scored three runs as Tim Carroll singled twice, scored once and knocked home a run. Derek Lyons belted a two-run home run for Polish Home, Joe White tripled, doubled and scored twice while Travis Brandt reached base three times and scored once.
8:00 D (M-F) Flemming & Lobevero Insurance took a win over Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprise, 7-0.
9:00 D (M-F) Bellinger Auto rolled a strike against Lakeview Lanes, 20-8. Despite Bellinger Auto scoring four runs in each of the first two innings, Lakeview Lanes scored six within the first two innings to stay within two runs before seven runs in the fourth allowed Bellinger Auto to pull away. Greg Distin blasted a two-run home run, a two-run triple, a RBI single, a base hit and scored thrice for Bellinger Auto, Mike Livoti tripled twice, doubled, singled, scored thrice and delivered two runs while Jared Bellinger and Jason Goodison each swatted two hits, scored two runs and knocked in a pair of RBIs. Dan Cook doubled, singled twice, scored a run and drove in two RBIs for Lakeview Lanes, Billy Patchen singled twice, walked, scored once and knocked in a run as Bryan Duval singled twice and scored twice.
