City of Fulton Softball League results for Tuesday, July 8

6:00 F (M-F) Bellinger Auto zoomed by Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprises, 20-9.  Every player scored at least one run for Bellinger Auto as the team scored at least twice in every inning while Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprises scored at least once in five innings.  Greg Distin blasted three two-run inside-the-park home runs and scored following a singled to lead Bellinger Auto, Jared Phillips tripled twice, singled twice, scored four runs and drove in two runs as Greg Hartranft belted a two-run inside-the-park homer, two triples, singled, scored twice and amassed three RBIs.  Rob Reynolds stroked four singles, scored once and drove in a run for Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprises, Ed Wood rapped three singles, walked, scored once and knocked in a run while Nate Sweet delivered a three-run inside-the-park home run.

7:00 F (M-F) Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprise split Lakeview Lanes, 15-4.  Lakeview Lanes scored the games first and last two runs while Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprise sandwiched 15 runs in between those runs; six in the top of the seventh.  Jim Mieczkowski tripled home two runs, singled in a run, walked twice and scored three times for Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprise, Dave Holden tripled, doubled, scored twice and drove in two RBIs, Bill Kemp smacked three singles to drive home three RBIs as Gary Kemp made his first plate appearance memorable with a inside-the-park home run.  Eric Carlson reached base twice, scored once and drove in a run for Lakeview Lanes, Casey Spencer singled twice and scored once while Joe Musumeci singled twice and knocked in a RBI.

6:00 D (M-F) Polish Home held off Flemming & Lobevero Insurance, 7-6.  Plolish Home scored six runs within the first two innings and scored what proved to be the game winner in the fourth before stopping a four-run rally by Flemming & Lobevero Insurance in the fifth a run short of knotting the game.  Joe White tripled, singled twice, scored twice and knocked in a run for Polish Home, Travis Brandt doubled twice, scored a run and drove in a run while CJ Smith lined a two-run inside-the-park home run.  Jay Kelsey smacked a two-run triple and singled for Flemming & Lobevero Insurance, Chris Kelsey lined three hits as Aaron Conn singled twice, scored once and drove in a run.

7:00 D (M-E) RFH’s Blues Boys stopped RFH’s Farm Team, 13-9.  An eight-run rally in the third gave RFH’s Blues Boys a seven-run lead while the defense needed to quell RFH’s Farm Team’s scoring opportunities in the sixth and seventh to preserve the win.  Adam Simon blasted a pair of two-run home runs and a pair of base hits for RFH’s Blues Boys, Dave Naioti lined a inside-the-park home run, a RBI single, walked and scored three times while Ty Hull belted a two-run homer and singled.  Doug Burton tripled, scored twice and drove in two runs for RFH’s Farm Team, Dave Runeare and Billy Ingersoll each blasted three hits, scored once and knocked in a run as Henry Miller doubled in a run and singled twice.

8:00 D (M-E) Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken stopped Muskie’s Brothers, 13-3.  Muskie’s Brothers scored twice in the third to know the game at three and Muskie’s Kick-n-Chicken tallied a run in the fifth to take the lead before blowing the game open with nine runs in the sixth.  Bill Ruggio lined four singles to knock in three RBIs and scored twice for Muskie’s Kick-n-Chicken, Steve Burrows doubled a run home, singled twice and scored twice while John Urban Jr. smacked a two-run triple, two singles and scored once.  Tim Farfaglia rapped three hits for Muskie’s Brothers, Tom Corsoniti and Curt Farfaglia each singled twice and knocked in a run as Daryl Baker singled, scored and sacrificed a run home.

9:00 D (M-E) Caster Well Drilling topped Tavern on the Lock, 9-4.  Caster Well Drilling scored five runs in the first inning while Tavern on the Lock scored twice in the bottom of the first and once in the third to pull within a pair of runs.  But three runs in the fifth re-established the lead for Caster Well Drilling.  Darrin Caster singled twice, scored twice and drove home a run for Caster Well Drilling, Marty Caster singled twice and scored twice as Robin Caster and Kenny Maynes each reached base twice, scored once and delivered two RBIs.  Tom Cole reached base in all three at bats and scored three runs for Tavern on the Lock, Steve Crandell singled three times and drove home a run while Harry Meeker singled and knocked home two RBIs.
