City of Fulton Softball League results for Wednesday, July 2

6:00 F (W-B) Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s rammed Longley Dodge/Travis Floral, 14-1.  Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s erupted for eight runs in the first inning, four in the second and two in the third to coast to victory.  Mary Ann Panzino doubled twice, singled, scored twice and drove in three runs for Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s, Melissa Himes cracked a three-run inside-the-park home run and scored following a base hit as Donna Ianuzzi tripled, doubled, singled, scored three runs and knocked in a run.  Chrissy Kempston singled and scored for Longley Dodge/Travis Floral, Missy Constanza drove in the run as Brenda Wilson, Amanda Howland, Teresa Borden and Gloria Kempston each singled.

7:00 F (W-C) Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating topped Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, 13-3.  Four runs in the first and second innings gave Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating the lead but three consecutive home runs took the sails from the short-handed Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters team.  Shelly Cordone homered twice, singled, scored four runs and drove home four runs for Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating, Danielle Mahoney homered, singled three times and scored four times as Ashlee Distin homered, singled three times, scored three runs and knocked in two RBIs.  Carrie Kinney doubled, singled, scored once and drove in a run for Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, Stacey Lachut tripled, singled and scored a run while Linda Allen singled and scored.

6:00 D (W-C) Wally’s Towing hauled away Lakeview Lanes, 16-8.  A very exciting game turned into a blow-out when Wally’s Towing erupted for eight runs in the sixth innings.  Christine Couse tripled, singled three times, scored once and knocked home five RBIs for Wally’s Towing, Vicki Smallidge reached base four times, scored three runs and drove in a run while Angie Vickery lined four singles, scored once and delivered a run.  Kelly Powers blasted a pair of RBI doubles, a RBI single and scored once for Lakeview Lanes, Stacey Smith singled three times and scored twice as Lisa Reed, Heidi Ingison and Erika Barnes each smacked two hits, scored once and drove in a run.

7:00 D (W-B) Red Baron topped Wildwood Construction, 6-2.  Wildwood Construction tied the game in the third inning before Red Baron finished off the scoring with a pair of runs in both the fifth and sixth innings.  Becky Hartranft whacked a two-run home run and two singles to amass three RBIs for Red Baron, Krista Phillips singled twice and scored twice as Keara Perry singled twice and drove in a run.  Becca Sivy singled three times and scored once for Wildwood Construction, Dawn Hutchinson singled home two runs while Sharon Cosser singled and scored.

8:00 D (W-B) B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance bested Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, 9-5.  Each team scored three runs in the first inning with a five-run third giving B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance the lead for good.  Mo Kasperek tripled a run home, singled and scored twice for B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance, Johanna Moloscon and Anita Runeare each singled three times, scored once and drove in a run while Jen Dempsey scored twice and delivered two RBIs.  Melissa Townsend lined a RBI double, two singles and scored once for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Lisa Burdick tripled, singled a run home and scored once as Wendy Demaio singled twice and drove in two RBIs.

9:00 D (W-C) Northern Girls cemented a 27-8 win over Chase Enterprises/Heath Paving.  A pair of seven run innings and a pair of five run innings gave Northern Girls a commanding lead.  Amy Emmons tripled, doubled twice, scored four times and delivered six RBIs for Northern Girls, Steph Wilson reached base five times, scored twice and amassed five RBIs while Sandy Boettcher reached base five times, scored four runs and knocked in five runs.  Gerry Briggs tripled twice, singled, scored three times and drove in three runs for Chase Enterprises/Heath Paving, Kim Gibbs tripled, singled, scored three times and knocked in a run as Terri Fowler singled twice and scored once.
