6:00 F (W-C) Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating stalled Wally’s Towing, 8-2. Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating scored twice in the first inning to take the lead and increased it every inning through the fourth while the defense held Wally’s Towing to a pair of runs, partly due to Chelsea Shue in right field gunning two players out at third (one on a relay by Ashlee Distin) and another at second. Ashlee Distin belted a home run, two singles, scored thrice and delivered four RBIs for Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating, Lori Grow singled three times and drove home two RBIs while Paula Distin doubled, singled twice, walked and scored a run. Vicki Smallidge stroked three singles and scored once for Wally’s Towing, Angie Vickery singled twice and scored once as Joanna Girard reached base twice and drove in a RBI.
7:00 F (W-C) Northern Girls survived a battle with Lakeview Lanes, 12-9. Each team scored four runs in the first inning with a run in the second giving Lakeview Lanes the lead. Another four run inning in the third by Northern Girls returned the advantage before Lakeview Lanes knotted the game in the fifth. Once again, Northern Girls tallied four runs to take the lead in the sixth while Lakeview Lanes responded with one run. Shelly Crofoot slugged a two-run home run, a two-run double, a RBI single, a base hit and scored three runs for Northern Girls, Steph Wilson reached base three times, scored twice and drove home two RBIs as Amy Emmons lined three singles and scored three runs. Lisa Reed singled three times, scored twice and drove in two RBIs for Lakeview Lanes, Kelly Powers crushed a two-run triple, a single and scored twice while Heidi Ingison doubled, singled a run home and scored twice.
6:00 D (W-C) Chase Enterprise/Heath Paving rolled past Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, 11-2. Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters scored twice in the first inning before Chase Enterprise/Heath Paving went on to score eleven unanswered runs for the win. Chris Hanson rapped three singles, scored twice and drove in a pair of RBIs for Chase Enterprise/Heath Paving, Teri Fowler stroked four singles, scored once and knocked in two runs while Linda Holmes swatted three singles, scored a run and delivered two RBIs. Cathy France smacked three base hits and scored once for Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, Carrie Kinney slugged a RBI double and a single while Tonya Witkowsky reached base twice.
7:00 D (W-B) Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s downed Wildwood Construction, 13-1. Wildwood Construction scored a run in the top of the fourth to cut the lead to two before Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s erupted for nine runs in the bottom of the fourth to put the game away. Mary Ann Panzino singled twice, walked twice, scored once and drove home three RBIs for Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s, Tamie Allen and Melissa Himes each singled home two runs, walked and scored once while Donna Ianuzzi tripled, walked twice, scored twice and knocked home a run. Patty McElroy singled twice and drove in the run for Wildwood Construction, Dawn Hutchinson reached base twice and scored three runs as Becca Sivy singled.
8:00 D (W-B) Longley Dodge/Travis Floral upset B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance, 4-3. Longley Dodge/Travis Floral built a three-run lead after batting in the fourth before B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance scored twice in the bottom of the fourth and tied the game in the sixth. Longley Dodge/Travis Floral scored the winning run in the top of the seventh when Gloria Kempston singled and Jesse Mills doubled Kempston to third with two outs before a walk to Debbie Davis loaded the bases and Teresa Borden singled home Kempston for the lead. Gloria Kempston singled, walked and scored twice for Longley Dodge/Travis Floral, Jesse Mills doubled and singled home a run while Danielle Borden singled twice and scored once. Mo Kasperek belted a RBI triple, a single, a RBI sacrifice fly and scored once for B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance, Liz Smith doubled, singled twice and scored once while Tammy Sheldon reached base twice and scored a run.
9:00 D (W-B) Red Baron blanked Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, 20-0. Red Baron rallied for sixteen runs in the second inning to dominate the game early. Becky Hartranft doubled, singled three times, scored thrice and drove home tow RBIs for Red Baron, Liz Grove reached base three times, scored each time and knocked in two RBIs while Keara Perry smacked a grand slam, singled and scored twice. Melissa Townsend, Barbette Hobard, Laurie Burdick, Jolene Stevens, Tammy Eastman and Karen Samson each singled for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service.
