City of Fulton Softball League Results for Wednesday, June 18

6:00 F (W-C) Chase Enterprise/Heath Paving black topped Lakeview Lanes, 14-4. After taking the lead with six runs in the third and three in the second, the third inside-the-park grand slam in the three nights increased the lead by four runs. Mo Naioti crushed a grand slam, a two-run home run, a double, single, scored three times and amassed six RBIs for Chase Enterprise/Heath Paving, Paige LoCastro rapped three singles, and scored twice while Kim Gibbs reached base three times, scored twice and got home two RBIs. Kelly Powers slugged a three-run home run for Lakeview Lanes, Shauna Slaghter sliced three singles and scored once as Brianna Paice singled twice and drove in one run.

7:00 F (W-C) Wally’s Towing pulled out a 11-10 win from Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters. Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters scored ten runs by the fourth inning while Wally’s Towing scored in every inning, tying the game in the sixth and scoring the game winner in the seventh. Angie Vickery doubled, lined a pair of RBI singles, walked and scored twice for Wally’s Towing, Christine Couse smacked a three-run home run, walked and scored the winning run as Cindy Ferris doubled, singled twice, scored once and drove in a run. Stacey Lachut lined a grand slam, two singles and scored twice for Brett’s Auto/Tailgaters, Carrie Kinney tripled, doubled, singled, scored once and knocked home four RBIs as Sam Talamo rapped three singles and scored once.

6:00 D (W-C) Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating rallied past Northern Girls, 17-9. Northern Girls rallied for five runs in the third to take the lead before Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating tallied eight runs in the fourth and five more in the fifth. Paula Distin reached base in all five at bats, scored three times and drove in four runs for Canalview Travel/Shuba 2 Construction/Tri-County Heating, Lori Grow doubled twice, scored twice and delivered six RBIs while Chelsea Shue singled twice, scored twice and knocked in three runs. Sandy Boettcher lined three hits, scored three times and drove in a run for Northern Girls, Amy Emmons tripled, singled twice, walked, scored once and knocked in a run as Steph Wilson reached base three times and got two runs home.

7:00 D (W-B) Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s shut down Red Baron, 16-4. Red Baron scored four runs in the first inning before being shut out the rest of the game while holding Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s scoreless before giving up nine runs in the fourth and seven in the fifth. Donna Ianuzzi tripled, doubled, singled, scored twice and knocked in three runs for Century 21 Leah’s Signature/Chubby’s, Dani Davis reached base three times, scored twice and drove home four runs while Kim McFarlane scored twice and sent home two RBIs. Alicia Hudson singled home a run and scored once for Red Baron, Jessica Hodges doubled in two RBIs as Keara Perry singled a run home.

8:00 D (W-B) Longley Dodge/Travis Floral edged Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, 4-3. A run in the first inning gave Jackson Hewitt Tax Service the lead until Longley Dodge/Travis Floral scored twice in the second as Jackson Hewitt Tax Service tied the game in the third before Longley Dodge/Travis Floral added two runs in the fourth. Gloria Kempston reached base three times and scored twice for Longley Dodge/Travis Floral, Jill Hughes singled twice and knocked in two RBIs while Missy Carter reached base twice and scored once, Melissa Townsend smacked a home run and scored twice for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Jolene Stevens tripled, singled and got a run home as Wendy Demaio tripled and scored a run.

9:00 D (W-B) B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance rallied from a six-run deficit to defeat Wildwood Construction, 18-6. B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance didn’t score until getting two runs in the third inning and exploded for eight runs in the fourth while adding eight runs in the next two innings. Jen Crook homered, singled twice, scored three runs and knocked in seven RBIs for B&T Sport Shop/Menter Ambulance, Mo Kasperek socked two home runs, doubled and delivered five RBIs as Jen Dempsey doubled, singled twice, scored four runs and drove in two runs. Cheri Piazza, Kathy Bouchard and Leah Woods each stroked two hits, scored once and drove in a run for Wildwood Construction while Marie McNulty lined three singles.
