City of Fulton Softball Results for Friday, July 11

6:00 F (M-C) McLane’s doubled up Cooper’s/Muskies, 10-5.  Cooper’s/Muskie’s tallied four runs in the first inning with McLane’s responding with two runs in the bottom of the inning before McLane’s rallied four six runs in the third to take the win.  Norm Francisco blasted a inside-the-park home run, a single and delivered five RBIs for McLane’s, Joe Griffin doubled twice, scored twice and knocked in a run as Sean Smith singled twice, scored once and drove in a run.  Shane Morrison lined a RBI double, two singles and scored a run for Cooper’s/Muskie’s, Mike Morrison crushed a home run to lead-off the game and scored following a double as Earnie Morrison singled twice, scored once and drove in a run.

7:00 F (M-B) Save-A-Lot broke through CP Drywall, 7-5.  Save-A-Lot scored five runs in the first inning with CP Drywall tying the game in the fifth.  Two runs in the bottom of the sixth proved to be the difference for Save-A-Lot.  Joe Younis stroked a pair of RBI singles and scored twice for Save-A-Lot, Dave Wallace ripped three singles and scored once as Dan Myers lined two hits and drove in two RBIs.  Craig Fitzpatrick doubled, singled, scored twice and drove in a run for CP Drywall, Don Livingston doubled a run home and singled in two RBIs while Cameron Cotton singled twice and knocked in a run.

6:00 D (M-C) Orangemen stymied McLane’s II, 7-2.  Orangemen tallied three runs in each of the first two innings and added another one in the seventh while holding McLane’s II to two runs despite allowing at least one base runner per inning except the seventh.  Jason Schneider tripled, singled twice scored three times and drove in a run for Orangemen, Chuck Tyrell doubled, singled twice, scored once and knocked home three RBIs while Brian Sullivan Jr. doubled, scored once and sacrificed a run home.  Dan Hofmann tripled, singled and scored for McLane’s II, Keith Wise and Ricky Hofmann each rapped a hit to drive in a run while John Becker doubled and scored.

7:00 D (M-I) Issue’s toppled Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, 11-4.  Issue’s had the lead 3-0 until Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game.  Issues responded with five runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh with Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s only adding one more run.  Shane Fordyce lined two inside-the-park home runs, doubled and amassed five RBIs for Issues, Milo Long reached base all four at bats, scored twice and drove in a run as Adam Schremph singled twice and scored twice.  Alex Baker singled twice driving in three RBIs for Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, Duane Chenett slapped two singles and scored while Steve Labeef and Andrew Aubin drew a walk and scored.

8:00 D (M- I) A&M Softball barely beat Barely Legal Accessories, 18-17.  A&M Softball held the lead 11-6 going into the sixth inning.  Barely Legal Accessories scored a run in the top of the sixth with A&M Softball scoring six runs in the bottom of the inning to cushion their lead.  The top of the seventh is when Barely Legal Accessories’ players came alive scoring ten runs to knot the game.  A&M Softball scored one run in the bottom of the seventh to take the win.  Vinny Alfano crushed a three-run inside-the-park home run, lined three singles, walked twice and scored three more times for A&M Softball, Andy Ward doubled, singled three times, scored a run and knocked in five RBIs as Mike Currier doubled, singled twice, scored three times and drove in four RBIs.  Nick Compson blasted a two run home run, doubled three times, walked, scored four runs and tallied four RBIs for Barely Legal Accessories, Ryan Ahart lined a solo inside-the-park home run, doubled twice, scored three runs and drove in two as Rod Macomber slapped three singles, scored twice and knocked in two RBIs.

9:00 D (M-B) We Care Organics damned up Fran’s Riverfront, 8-7.  We Care Organics scored two runs in the second and three in the third with Fran’s Riverfront responding by scoring seven runs in the third to take the lead.  We Care Organics scored three more runs in the fourth to regain the lead.  Both teams had strong defense as no more runs were scored after the fourth.  John Wallace launched a three-run home run, singled and tallied two runs across the plate for We Care Organics, Josh Giacolone blasted a two-run home run, singled and scored another run as Dustin Cook slapped two singles and scored twice.  Scott Travers reached base three times, scored a run and knocked in a run for Fran’s Riverfront, Keith Roberts hit two singles, scored once and drove in a run as Chad Sheldon singled driving in a RBI and scored.
